We have visited mainly for Sunday lunch for many years. The quality and quantity remains at a high standard. Whilst we appreciate prices need to increase the latest one is over 20% Still great quality so ok. Unfortunately as well as a hefty price increase the meat portions/slices have reduced, they are slicing the meat so thin you would think they had used a razor blade. Come on be reasonable otherwise your business will suffer.

They had done up the windows but forgotten to replace the thing that was needed which was replace the rotten windows…putting new windows does not constitute renovation. Also 5am wake up with the guy emptying the bottle bin outside…..and him not thinking that’s an issue. The bed was tiny and pillows were pointless..,,just air …. Points are for the breakfast

Stayed B&B for one night. We have stayed before. Staff were friendly. Sarah on reception was welcoming. Breakfast was nice with good choice. Our bedroom and bathroom was clean. The bed base needed replacing as it was battered. The carpet had a couple of marks on it, bedding and towels were clean. The woodwork on the landing definitely needed a coat of paint and was battered in places. The lounge/bar area is very cosmetic and not really in keeping with the old style building. The lighting was very bright and very distracting. Would only stay again on a lower season rate!

Called in for Sunday Lunch carvery. Despite being relatively quiet the tables were sticky, then had to chase staff up after 45 minutes of placing food order and wait to be served. Staff member in question was quite rude when asked how long and responded with a sarcastic gesture. Staff more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than looking after customers. Food was average and luke warm at best. Condiments and cutlery are provided via a self serve table Salt, Pepper and Sauces are via paper sachets which is what one would expect from a Little Chef as opposed to a Spa Hotel and Bar. No one asked how our meal was and only a simply “finished” comment when they came to clear the table. Overall, a very poor experience and expected better. Sorry but would not recommend to anyone visiting Woodhall Spa. There are lots of other food places to try rather than here. Very disappointing for a hotel!

We booked a number of rooms and we were thoroughly looked after. Our bedroom had a comfortable double bed and a huge bathroom with bath, shower and even a bench seat by the bathroom window! The hotel is tastefully decorated and staff are helpful, even going out of their way to make sure that we got late bar service. Convenient parking outside was a bonus, but the best thing at The INN was the breakfast - with table service and a combination of buffet and individual orders, the food was excellent and particular high praise was given to the sausages and bacon. Thank you!

I drove up the Broadway where the Inn is situated 3 times before I could find this pub. The front of the building is marked the Lancaster . The sign was hidden by the overgrown trees. Bad start . We were allocated a family room for 2 elderly ladies facing due west which was extremely hot in this warm weather . I did ask if that was the best they could do ,they said they were full. Shower over the bath . Not good. The Inn is really ok for male golfers but it’s not value for money . If you are used to 3/4 star hotels give this place a miss.

The most delicious Sunday carvery was had. You serve yourself with the vege, someone was cutting your meat but the meat was perfect and wasn’t dry! Lovely tables inside and great tables outside in the garden especially on a nice sunny day. Great prices too!

We actually turned up on Christmas Eve as a party of 9 people in the hopes of getting a lunchtime meal at The Lancaster. We were lucky enough to find two tables close together and ordered a selection of food although we were warned that there was a wait of about 45 minutes. We didn't wait anywhere near that length of time and everything that arrived was very enjoyable. There was a great range of choices including gluten free for two of our party and the food was generous and reasonably priced.
