We stayed over the Christmas period so we could visit family living near by. The room was fantastic and exactly what we needed for a comfy stay. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us. We ate over at the cookhouse and the food was brilliant especially the breakfast such good value for money. We will definitely return.

Great hotel. Staff superb, very welcoming. We took the meal deal and Zoe in the restaurant helped two tired and hungry customers to find exactly what they wanted on the menu. She was great. All round good experience. Thank you.

The only reason we are giving 4 instead of 5 is because there were a tiny herd of elephants above us! Not the hotel’s fault though.

Stayed for 4 nights over Christmas while visiting family and friends in the area. We had an excellent ground floor with a separate shower. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. We booked two continental breakfasts which were very good and reasonably priced. Fortunately there was no noise from the extension being built. The car park was often nearly full as the restaurant is obviously very popular.

The staff at this establishment are professional and curtious. They provide a warm welcome and can be very helpful if you any issues during your stay.

Staff are nice. Verry welcoming, rooms need a good clean! The assistant manager spend most of her day in the carpark smoking, and unfortunately has a very disgusting potty mouth. Definately no what you want to to hear from a manager.

Went here and had the best time!! Rooms were comfortable and clean, staff were the friendliest and super accommodating! Would definitely be staying here again! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so lovely!
