This was birthday present and a lovely stay and surprise. Hosts were friendly. The room was great nd only criticism is that it lacked a toilet door which took way privacy. There is a curtain instead. Saying that I would return but maybe request room with a toilet/bathroom door.

This was a birthday present and a lovely present it was. We stayed for one night in the Kings chamber, a beautiful room, very atmospheric. Loved the location although I feel you would need a car. The view was lovely, overlooking a field of sheep which was a bonus. We had booked breakfast and this was just what I needed. The experience was just what I needed, just a relaxed stay , and friendly hosts. The only reason I am not giving a full five stars is because the toilet did not have a door (a curtain instead) which for us lacked privacy and made it a little awkward, other than this I would return.

The accommodation was truly exceptional, with a spacious and opulent queen suite. Our hosts welcomed us with a glass of prosecco and a warm greeting. They provided us with recommendations on places to explore in Newark and its close vicinity. They ensured that our anniversary was made particularly memorable...

My husband booked this hotel to celebrate 31 years together, and wow what a surprise. Spotlessly clean, wonderful details everywhere you looked. We were in The Queens suite absolutely fabulous ! We were met by Julie And Hugh with a glass of bubbles, and immediately felt like you had known them all your life, second to none hosting from a lovely couple. The room is so peaceful and relaxing and so is the garden, we felt like royalty at breakfast, which was so tasty plus a Buck’s Fizz. I literally can’t say enough praise for the whole experience and we will be going back for sure not only for the ambience and beautiful rooms but to see Julie and Hugh again.

What an amazing discovery! We have just returned from a nights stay with family. This boutique hotel is undoubtedly the finest I’ve ever experienced. The meticulous attention to detail is truly remarkable, and the level of cleanliness is outstanding. Breakfast was simply delightful, and Julie and Hugh made us feel incredibly welcome. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend

Lovely little family run bed and breakfast. My mum and 1 stayed for one night after visiting Eden Hall Spa. We arrived to a lovely welcome and a bottle of prosecco. The house has been renovated in a medieval style, the room we stayed in was very light and luxurious with beautiful views and a very comfy bed. The couple who own Manor court were very chatty, warm and friendly and gave us recommendations for our evening meal. The breakfast was lovely with a variety available including a cooked breakfast which we chose.

What an incredible place! We stayed in the Queen's Suite, a beautiful and opulent room with a huge and comfortable bed and a gorgeous standalone bath. We were warmly welcomed to Manor Court by the friendly owners, Jules and Hugh. From the moment they opened the imposing door, we were impressed. The hallway features a fantastic staircase and so many interesting details and artefacts. The attention to detail in the design of every aspect of Manor Court is simply stunning. Jules and Hugh immediately offered us champagne and chatted with us for a while. Nothing is too much trouble and Jules called a pub nearby to arrange for us to eat there later that evening. We were not disappointed there either. We enjoyed a lovely meal and great service. The next morning, we were served an amazing breakfast in the wonderful dining room at Manor Court. If you are looking for somewhere different to stay that is equal parts comfort and theatre - you've found it! We plan to return soon.

Lovely overnight stay in opulent surroundings, a touch of luxury has been achieved by the wonderful hosts. Peaceful nights sleep and a filling breakfast completed the wonderful stay. The gothic theme was also evident in the garden , statues, box hedging and ornate cast iron furniture.

Wow, wow, wow!! This is a little piece of heaven tucked away in a beautiful rural location. This beautiful house is luxury from the moment you arrive, the design and layout is exquisite and echoes throughout the house in to the bedrooms. We stayed in the kings suite and it was breathtaking, the room was everything we could of asked for and more. Huge thank you to Julie and Hugh on welcoming us on arrival with a glass of bubbly each and making us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We will be returning very soon and words don't begin to do this stunning house justice. We were looking for a relaxing night away and Manor Court delivered with bells on. Can't wait for our next visit. Lucy
