We’ve now stayed at Ardtornish four times, and can’t wait to return. The accommodation is delightful, the team are all lovely and welcoming and the Morvern peninsula is just magical.

Starting with the location - it is stunning. It is off the beaten track and ever so picturesque. The walks are fabulous and so quiet. You will hardly meet another soul. For our holiday four of us stayed in Rose Cottage. This has been the perfect peaceful break. The cottage has an amazing setting and is so quiet. The cottage itself is fully appointed and has everything you need. We have done a lot of cooking and there is everything you could need in the kitchen. The central heating is excellent and we have felt very comfortable . The log starter pack for if you want the addition of a log fire in the living room is huge. We haven't lit the fire because the property is still cosy without a fire. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are super comfortable. We love the tasteful style of the entire cottage. There are plenty of interesting prints and archival photos on the walls. There are two bathrooms in Rose Cottage including a walk in shower. For rainy days there are several jigsaws and lots of books in the cottage. If you want to be close to nature, in a quiet location then this is the perfect holiday for you.

We could not rate Ardtornish Estate highly enough because from start to finish we had the best experience! We stayed in Castle Cottage for a week and we experienced so much wildlife and solitude it was unbelievable! The cottage is beautiful and the situation is exquisite! So cosy and well equipped and we will certainly be booking again. Thank you to all the staff for enhancing our stay

We had a wonderful few days in The Nursery Flat at Ardtornish. It was a truly authentic experience staying in a stately home that has not been messed with and retains its period charm and quirks. In the corridor, for example, was a mysterious door high above our heads! The location is stunning and we enjoyed the lovely walks on the doorstep. Lots of wildlife was spotted, including sea and golden eagles. Staff were very nice and helpful. We were allowed into the flat early, without even asking, which was much appreciated given the mixed weather.
