We arrived early which was no trouble to our hostess mary was brilliant even cooked us a breakfast owing to our early departure from home, showed us to our room offered to arrange taxis and did ,beds were so comfortable linen and entire house impeccably clean the farm buildings were a lovely ramble prior to breakfast I honestly haven't had a lady and her husband look after us as well ever couldn't recommend enough

Stayed in Moate Lidge in Sept as part of a golf break. Wonderful building, fantastic hosts, great night's sleep, topped off with a fine Irish breakfast. Could not fault one element of our stay, would fully recommend.

The room was very charming, the bed is comfey after a long day and the hosts are beautiful people, very accommodating. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast, my hubby loved the scones. Loved the fresh flowers displayed from the graden. We would stay again.

Old country house on a noisy working farm. Decor very dated. Wallpaper from the 80's. Breakfast area very dated. Poor full Irish, small in size & not well cooked. Place is surviving on 'old country house' reputation.

Charming B&B in the Heart of the Kildare Countryside I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B, set on a working farm in the peaceful Kildare countryside. The building itself is full of character, with over 250 years of history, and the gardens are absolutely beautiful, perfect for a relaxing stroll. It was the ideal spot for a quiet getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and really set me up for the day. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, scenic setting

Charming 250 year old farm house. Mary & Raymond are first class hosts. Super fast wifi and very well located for the Irish National Stud and the Curragh racecourse. A quaint, authentic Irish experience in the rolling Kildare countryside. Highly recommend.

wonderful price, fab hosts and the most beautiful house and location in Athy. Mary and her husband are so lovely, a host of knowledge about the house itself, property and area. We had a family room and a double room no complaints for anything. great sleep and full irish breakfast with homemade scones :) We will return
