酒店回复: You did not read any of the information on the booking sight regarding the fact that we are not a hotel with 24hour reception and late arrival can be arranged with prior notice from you. It is not our responsibility to contact you regarding what time you think you might arrive. You neglect to mention the fact that you continually pressed the door bell thereby waking the other guests that were asleep! You state you do not know the rules in NZ, consideration for others is not a rule but just that ''consideration for other people''. Had you letus know about your intention to arrive late you would have known that there was a key left out for you with an explanatory letter.

这是我们在霍基蒂卡唯一能找到的跨年夜住处，看来这其中另有原因。这是一家民宿，你会和房东住在一起。我们晚上10点左右到的，房东冲我们吼道：“你知道现在多晚了吗？” “我们有权把你赶出去！”
我不太了解新西兰的规矩，但我觉得晚上10点应该没问题，尤其是在跨年夜，很多人还在附近徘徊。我们本来应该自己去找钥匙，但酒店方面事先没有给我们任何信息，无论是如何找钥匙，还是我们是否应该尽量早点到。我们在霍基蒂卡玩得很开心，但这绝对是最糟糕的部分。
