The b&b rooms are all large and feature nice bathrooms and some with an outlook to the beautiful pool setting. Toto and Lisa are great hosts. The breakfasts are as good as you will get anywhere, you are simply spoiled for choice. It is close to tff beach but about 1.5kms from Catania central. You can walk down the dedicated cycle path but bus stops are very close and only cost 1.4 euros each way. Get off and catch the bus at the bus center near McDonald's in Centro. If you are catching the bus into Centro, don't start walking along the red path first, you need to cross the road before you get to that otherwise you can't get across the barriers.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Toto and Lisa are wonderful hosts and we had a really great time. The rooms are clean and quiet and it is really close to both the airport and the beach. They were very helpful and always quick to respond if we had a question or concern.

Sciara Biscari is a well-appointed, modern, purpose-built bed and breakfast. It has an outdoor pool, with lots of seating in sun and shade, to enjoy in summer. We didn't test them out ourselves (sadly) because we went in March. The room was a good size with an excellent shower, shampoo and body wash provided, and mini USB charging points which are a great facility. Breakfast was extensive and varied, and often included homemade mini cannoli. There are many extra touches such as the little biscuits available in the hall area, and use of a microwave. Teas of all sorts and coffee are available in this area too. Secure off-street parking was a big plus for us and I doubt you can get this anywhere else in Sicily. The B&B is close to the airport if you have an early start, but there is no noise from aircraft. Toto the host gave us service above and beyond what regular B&B owners might do, including for example providing vouchers for a free snack meal which you can cash in if you use the cable car at Mount Etna. As to the location, the B&B is on the outskirts of the centre, an easy 15 to 20 minute walk from the historic area of Catania, and about 10 minutes from the beach, albeit across a number of roads where you have to contend with the Italian traffic! The walk back from town at night would be more difficult as the direct route through a suburb would be unpleasant and in fact Toto himself recommended we should not do it as it could be slightly dangerous. This might be better in the summer when it is still daylight. The alternative route is slightly longer, probably about 20 minutes, along a main road. We chose not to do this in the evening because we had the option of a car, although Toto does give detailed instructions on which buses to use and also has a supply of bus tickets for purchase by guests. Dinner arrangements are really the only slight issue because of the location. The restaurant next to the B&B is predominantly fish and is relatively basic although perfectly serviceable for a meal. This is the easiest option for dinner although making a second visit left us with little choice of dishes. The other restaurants towards the beach did not look like they would provide much of a range for an evening meal, although we were visiting off season so they may be more tempting in the summer months. Since there is parking at the B&B, and this is probably why you chose it, it is a much simpler option to use the town centre car park recommended by Toto, which is cheaply priced and about 5 minutes away. Although driving in Italy is always challenging, if you have already taken the decision to do so, and have picked Sciara Biscari because it has parking, then this is a fairly straightforward option. For us personally the convenience and multiple benefits of the B&B far outweighed the minor challenges of the location. We highly recommend it! We arrived later than planned but were warmly welcomed. It was great to have secure parking, The accommodation is stylish and comfortable. Our room was huge as indeed was the bathroom. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have a chance to use it. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect in terms of distance from the airport and it is not far at all from the chaos of town. Definitely walkable.

Just had a few amazing days at this place. It's like a paradisical oasis in Catania. We were spoiled for choice: we could stay in and enjoy the beatiful garden and pool; take a short walk to the nice nearby beach with cheap sun lounges and a very nice bar; or take a walk to the city center and indulge in the amazing spots to visit and eat that the B&B host kindly recommended to us. We're definitely returning. I already miss the amazing breakfast food and their nice cannolis. The room was huge and comfortable. I felt like taking the bed with me, if I could. Amazing place!

We truly loved our time at this BnB and also exploring Catania. The home is a peaceful oasis and we truly felt welcomed into the home - we were not just another customer. Catania is a city of immense history and authenticity and we loved it. The BnB is immaculately clean and perfectly positioned to access the beach areas and also the historical centre. The pool area is a great spot to cool off in the afternoon. Thank you so much Toto for a wonderful stay. I will miss the fresh home made cannoli’s (and also Mimi and Coco) !

Just returned from a fabulous stay at this excellent B and B. Toto and Lisa and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Everything is immaculately clean, the rooms very well equipped (including fridge), breakfast delicious with lots of homemade produce, the pool spacious and just the right temperature and loads of help and excellent advice given to ensure we got the most out our visit to this lovely City.

What an excellent B&B. We had a lovely time here. We were picked up by car by the lovely Lisa. The bedrooms and bathrooms are superb. Modern and spotless. Beautiful pool and sun beds. Toto, the owner, gave us lots of information of the area. There is a bus stop to take you straight into Catania City. Very handy for the airport and a short walk to the beach. We had a lovely day at one of the Lidos. A lovely ending to our holiday in a Sicily.
