Omg as soon as I seen the place from outside and on entering the premises, I thought I would give it a try as it might be ok just for one night! The more I entered the more the putrid it was and entering the room was even worse. My asthma started to play up and decided I would leave in view of going back just for the night. I am so glad I decided not to go back that night and stayed somewhere else. I went back the next day to drop my key back and just to have a bit of investigation. Have a look at the pictures to see what was lurking underneath the covers!!!

One of the two guys on the staff was really rude and unhelpful. I slept in a single room which had no bedside table, no wardrobe and no hangers. The impression was really bad. For someone who travels by bike like me, the place they make available to you is not safe. I don't recommend it at all.

Like the last person to review, I got bitten by bed bugs!! The hotel obviously knows about this problem, but chooses not to act!! I’m pretty sure they could fumigate & eradicate the problem in 1 day! I went despite the review I’d seen because honestly was hoping it wasn’t true & knew the stay was non refundable. I’m really very upset & putting in a complaint with *********** Avoid at all costs!!

Stayed four nights. The bed was made well but the room was not cleaned. Carpet needed hoovering, skid marks in the toilet and dirty floors and shelves. Got feasted on by Bed Bugs over the stay and am now trying not to scratch various areas, although the shower was good. The Breakfast was dysfunctional and you were lucky if there was any coffee left let alone a working kettle to make the tea or water to refill. Finding a member of staff is very hit and miss although when we did they were polite but slightly detached from the situation. Although in fairness they were probably there just to clean..our room must have been off the rota. We were actually locked out on our last day so had to keep banging on the doors and windows until a fellow guest let us in. I enjoyed Harwich and the surrounding area but would not recommend staying here unless you're not bothered about cleanliness and just staying overnight while travelling.

We just been to Fryatt hotel and bar Harwich the confirmation says check in 2:30 we arrived 2:33 and bar manager went no come back it’s 3pm check in so my husband and I had to sit in car 30plus degrees heat and wait half hour, he had no people skill he could of said sorry we don’t do check in till 3pm but your welcome to stay in bar area and have a drink while you wait, Our room was disgusting never cleaned or hoovered in ages the bathroom was filthy never cleaned in ages there was no toilet roll my husband went to ask and found store room open and took toilet roll, you couldn’t see out shower screens as they were filthy as of shower so we didn’t use shower the sink filthy they had small bin in toilet that wasn’t emptied, the kettle had water marks all over it and dust we didn’t even use it as filthy and no bin in room to put your rubbish in, there was dust and bits rubbish all over the carpet where it’s had never been hovered the sheets and pillow had dust on them I have never seen such a dirty room it says free Wi-Fi but was no Wi-Fi code written down in room or given to us my husband had to go down to bar and ask for code, I wanted to leave but my husband was to tired to drive back home I couldn’t wait for the morning we left at 7:30am

AVOID AVOID AVOID! this is the worst place ever! we booked ground floor, no steps or stairs, even ground floor had steps! this is managed by just one young man, who is not very well trained, we could not get any help with anything, if this is a pub, where is the drink? not even a glass off white wine for me! my room was very clean and was obviously very new, they have turned the function room into rooms, so my room was next door to the pub, with a boarded up door, which used to be straight through to the pub, so no sleep for us! at 8 am, having had not much sleep, on came the loud music again, we tried to find a member of staff, but he was no where to be found! there is no chairs in the rooms, and no where to sit to do make up or hair, no shelves in the bathroom, and the blinds dont open for light! this place is owned by SYRYA, they need to be sorting this out! we packed and left, there is no where to leave your room key, we were told to leave it in the room! they have no food facilities here either. when we left, there was another couple, who were very angry, they didnt get any sleep either! they left, as they could not find anyone to deal with their complaint. Dreadful place DO NOT WSTE YOUR MONEY! GO ELSEWHERE

房间没有窗户，幸运的是，我们升级了房间，住进了带窗户的套间，可以开着窗户透透气。再也不会住了。酒吧除了啤酒外，几乎没有什么可喝的。我们必须穿过的啤酒花园区域非常恶心，到处都是垃圾，垃圾箱满溢。我们只在需要赶早班渡轮时才住在这里。汽车也必须停在路边。
