The good: The room: Amazing!!! We've actually got a mini suite that has anything we needed in it Kitchen: Fully equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Comfort: Very comfortable. Value for money: Excellent. Location: Very good, great view, Coop store bear by, 35 minutes drive from Mardalsfossen. Stuff: Both the lady who run the place and the owner were fabulous. We had the chance to talk with both of them and here their stories and the place history. Very pleasant people. Free WiFi: We didn't use it. Parking: Plenty. TV Channels: We didn't use the T.V that we has in the room. Total: Great experience. The bad: There was nothing not to like.

This small and not expensive hotel in the middle of nowhere, with a beautiful view to a fjord is one of the most remarkable on our entire Norway trip. The room was OK, the breakfast fine etc. But the caretaker was one of the friendliest ever! We talked about football all the evening over a beer, and he got out a map and explained us what would be the best plan for us the next day. What road to take, where to go, what is the weather we should expect and so on. We just mentioned the waterfalls we planned visiting, he told us all about getting there via the most beautiful road. Definitely a highlight!

This hotel is nicely situated. We arrived after a funeral event, so the 2 ladies running the hotel were very busy, but we were made welcome. The hotel is old. Rooms are ok, bathroom tiny. Very thin walls, so we ‘enjoyed’ the snoaring neighbour....... bring your earplugs. Beds are fine though. We were served very simple dinner, a soup, baccaloa and dessert at NOK 150, a bargain. Location is great, the building has a lot of character. It could become a fantastic place with some investments.

Stayed three nights and explored the surrounding area, hotel is a great central location and you can drive to Rampestreken, Kristiansund and the Atlantic highway avoiding ferries and any delays. Our Hotel room was spacious with a small kitchen and fantastic views. We stayed in July and it never got dark, a new experience for us.
