It is worth travelling the extra mile to stay at the Presbytere de Sevigny, a rectory that has been remodelled into a cosy guest house, held by friendly owners. The interior decoration is soothing, breakfast is delicious with home-made breads and jams, and the courtyard has that English shabby chic vibe.

We recently had a two night stay at Le Presbytere on our way home from the Burgundy area to break up the journey home.It was a very comfortably stay with everything you could need/want from a B&B. The breakfasts were generous with bread, cheese and those lovely homemade Jams and we had two evening meals that Lawrence cooked and they were delicious, the rose biscuit topped apple crumble was exceptional and Jatin couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. A lovely experience ….I recommend.

We have stayed here four times now and look forward to staying again. There is always a warm, friendly welcome, with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is really tasty and filling, Laurence’s homemade jams are delicious. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. A bientôt Jatin & Laurence. Sarah and Richard

We spent 2 nights here whilst visiting nearby Laon for a Classic Car event- what a super find. Jatin is a star and made us very welcome. We had a lovely meal prepared by Laurence in one of the evenings - nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were lovely and it was really interesting looking at the pictures showing how the building looked before they restored it. This will be top of our list of places to stay when we are next in the area.

We had a really lovely stay here on our journey from the Alpes to Calais. The house has been beautifully refurbished by Lawrence and Jackson and our room was really comfortable with everything you could need. We paid for dinner which was cooked by Lawrence and was delicious. Breakfast had everything you could want before we continued our journey. The house is about 20 min off the A26 and is close to Reims and Laon and the WW1 battlefield sites of Verdun. This was a superb find and so much better than staying at a chain hotel. Both the owners speak great English and the house is a great location for a stop over or to discover the Ardennes.

What a wonderful experience, amazing hosts who have a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. Food is exceptional and the room is elegant clean and very peaceful. The hosts also cooked and served a beautiful locally Sue Ed meal in the evening. Breakfast again exquisite.
