What a great place to stay! We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The rooms have all been refurbished and have nice comfortable beds and lovely toiletries. Little touches include ear plugs ( it’s a busy bar and windows aren’t double glazed so there is some road noise) and a hot water bottle if you need it, but my room was warm, even though I turned off the radiator. The food was excellent and good value for money. Lovely to see lots of locals supporting it too….. always a good sign. A very enjoyable break

What a fabulous pub! We booked for 3 nights after it featured in the Times for cosy Autumn pub get-aways, and didn't regret it for a second. It only reopened 3 months ago after a complete refurb, which has been superbly done. A photo of Room 1 is attached. The staff, Andy, Lucy and everyone else, are all so friendly and welcoming, and the chefs terrific. We ate in all 3 nights simply because the food was delicious and there was no point going anywhere else. And the breakfasts were fabulous too. We had a great time here, we simply loved everything about this pub and hope to be back very soon.

We had a wonderful evening. The staff were so kind and helpful, explaining all the dishes and very attentive. The food was out of this world and we had such a special evening we will definitely be going back!! I had the aged steak from a local butcher that tasted phenomenal and the seafood we also had was fresh and delicate, with a beautiful flavour. Cant recommend enough

We had a great lunch, my friend and I had cote de boeuf from the ageing fridge in the restaurant which we got to choose ourselves. it was then cooked in the kitchen over fire. The taste is phenomenal and the garlic butter was just perfect with it. I don’t get some of the other comments on here! We come all the time and it’s always amazing. It’s not trying to be Michelin star it’s really good local produce cooked really well over fire. What’s not to like. It’s obviously a difficult time in this industry and pointless nasty reviews when you can see how hard everyone is working makes you wonder why they are leaving them in the first place and the sort of people they are in the first place. You guys keep on doing what you are doing at the Fleur. We love it and see why you are one of the busiest places around. Cheers and we will be back very soon!!
