Check-in was amazing and the lady who was new had such a great sense of humour and very customer focused. The room was clean tidy and the breakfast was amazing.

The lodge kingswood
It was a lovely stay with stunning views from the club house. The breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean. My only complaint as someone whos very sensitive to dust is that some high dusting should be more regularly done. I highly recommend very comfortable

Excellent two night stay at The Lodge. Easy parking and check in. Lovely room and excellent service from all the staff we came into contact with. The food served was good but the menu could be improved. The 'extras', only available with a main just didn't seem to go.

The lodge is in a nice area. The room is a tidy average room with no bar fridge. Largely they seem to cater for functions and conferences. The breakfast is good value.
It is attached to a golf club. I messaged to try to book a golf tee time both via the booking agent VRBO and email direct to pro-shop. I got no response to either but on arrival they told me a time had been booked. Perhaps they assumed a golf booking would email me automatically but that didn’t appear to work for international visitors.

We stayed for one night at the lodge beside the golf course and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly on arrival, which made for a warm welcome. Dinner and breakfast were served in the golf club house — good, honest pub grub that hit the spot.
Our room overlooked the grounds of the golf course. The bed was comfortable and the room well appointed, though it could benefit from a bit of modernisation. There’s also a lift to the first floor where the rooms are located, which was a helpful addition.
Overall, a convenient and friendly stopover with a relaxed atmosphere.
