I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off.
It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there.
That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small.
I didn’t see any temperature control in the room, but it wasn’t too hot or too cold.
The host/owner was kind and helpful. The place had a lot of character to it that made it charming.
When I went to plug in my phone charger on the side of my bed, that’s when I noticed a lot of dust-bunnies. It could probably use a deep clean, but it was fine for one night.

We had a very pleasant stay in Eisenach at Pension Mahrets.
Anna was very helpful, showed us around and gave recommendation about the town.
