We had often come for dinner on previous trips as the food in the restaurant is so fantastic and so this year we thought let’s stay in the hotel! The hotel has everything you need, is very clean, very well looked after. Tina is a fantastic host and the whole team are just lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size, lots of storage, seating area, comfy beds, very comfortable overall. Ski room is ideal with boot warmers. Breakfast has a great selection - although no hot options. The lounge downstairs is great for a drink and a game of cards. I think one of the biggest advantages is the restaurant being downstairs, so lovely having a delicious meal and then heading straight to bed. Thank you so much Tina and the team! We will back for sure!!

We have been holidaying in Mayrhofen since 2020 and regularly eat at the Gasthof Edelweiss restaurant a delightful establishment run by the Family Pramstraller. The service is excellent and the food is always superbly cooked & presented with a delicious range of starters and main courses to choose from, all of which taste great. The range of drinks at the bar is also excellent! This is one of Mayrhofen’s classier establishments and you will not be disappointed if you chose to eat your lunch or dinner here or simply pop in for a coffee and a strudel. Main courses range from a Pizza (Euro 14) to Fillet Steak (Euro 42) & there are a large number of alternative dishes including Wiener Schnitzel, Roast Beef, Salmon Fillet and Beefburgers with the usual sides of vegetables / fries etc. There is a well maintained & comfortable outside dining area which is under cover with cushioned chairs and set tables heated by large gas fired / electric heaters. The inside restaurant is classy and comfortable built in true Tyrolean style. Prices are reasonable and on a par with what you would pay at a similar restaurant in the UK. You won’t be disappointed if you eat here. It is highly advisable to pre book your table in advance as the restaurant gets booked up very quickly during high season in both winter & summer so if you turn up on the night without having reserved your table you may well be turned away as they will be full. We can wholeheartedly recommend Gasthof Edelweiss.

Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly, relaxed and catered for our every need. Food was excellent. Hotel rooms were spacious, clean, modern and all in working order. Location was ideal for a family of mixed ages being close enough to the night life, but also far enough away that we weren’t disturbed at night.

Worst meal & service of the entire trip. Avoid like the plague. 1. pizza with no cheese. 2. Arguments with two waiters/waitresses over whether cheese is standard on a pizza 3. Wine that took 20 mins to arrive 4. Water that never arrived and 5. Pizza that came with the wrong toppings. The wine took more than 20 minutes to arrive, when it came it came with just two glasses for a table of 4. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms but what they served to me was a "pizza" with no cheese. Imagine, a pizza with no cheese. When we brought it to the attention of the waiter, he got into an argument with us about how a marinara pizza (pizza with no cheese) was normal in Italy and that we didn't order cheese ( I also didn't order tomato sauce but that is implied when ordering a pizza). The waiter then took the pizza, carried it through the restaurant to his colleague who took the order to ask her if I ordered cheese. This waitress then came to the table to argue that we didn't order cheese. They did take the pizza back, but instead of making a fresh one, they put cheese on top of the pizza and cooked it again which meant the pizza came out burnt!! I can't believe staff can be so incompetent this day in age, and be so arrogant to argue with a a customer in the middle of a busy restaurant.

Tina was a marvellous host, friendly and extremely helpful especially when there was a bit of an issue on check-in. The hotel restaurant is really good, great food and great staff, especially young Julia. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is very well located for cable car.

我们的住宿就在餐厅附近，这就是我们最后的目的地。和以前一样的服务员。一个友善、爱开玩笑、工作态度良好的人，但在我作为一个男人离开厕所后，这显然发生了变化。我的妻子付了钱，并被要求支付 6 欧元的小费，这是在胁迫下完成的。我们离开餐厅后我发现了这一点。我的妻子对这一切感到非常惊讶，忘记了她的包。结果导致服务员嘲笑她并在她身后大喊大叫。我听了，就回去问这位先生到底想表达什么意思。显然，结论是这也发生在阿姆斯特丹，因此也发生在这里。如果你的血压已经很高并且你不想被关进奥地利牢房，我会远离这里。
