It’s so disgusting, stinks like a mixture of dog urine and human urine… ceiling falling in,nasty floors that you stick to,oh and the bed is COVERED IN PET HAIRS,and I do not own an animal, some one else in the group left because her room was so bad!

Where to begin? We were over charged for our room. Place is in serious need of repair. Bathtub had a hole in the tile around the faucets and leaky valves stuffed with rags. Faucet was duct taped together. There was a serious leak in the bathroom plumbing which left a squishy wet puddle in the carpet at the bathroom door. Got wet feet every time I got up to pee at night. Must have been leaking for quite a while without repair. Water was never hot in the shower. Barely warm at best. Towels were stingy and kind of grey. Needed some bleach. No extra T.P. only half a roll in the bathroom. Bare light bulbs throughout the room, many of which did not work. At least the heat worked. Didn't look like we got clean sheets, they were grey looking and in need of bleach too. Place is a real sh*thole. Won't stay there again. A real disappointment for the money.

The entrance locks on the doors at one time used a card reader to unlock, this system was no longer functioning. To unlock the door a modified key was employed, but I always needed assistance to open the door. Once in the room I was unable to get the TV to work properly, it would turn on with the DirectTV and Roku remotes but was never able to get any programing. Even the manger was unable to get the system to work and stated the Wifi must be out. When it was time for me to take my medication I discovered there were no drinking cups in the room. I went to the office and was given an open glass that was not sanitized. The plumbing was the main problem the sink would drain but very slowly, it didn't need a stopper or have one and would take minutes to drain once full. This was minor with the major problem being the lack of hot water at the sink or shower. In my three day stay I never did have hot water. The facility also has a wiring problem and relies on power strips to operate a small refrigerator, microwave and lite all on one circuit. I am 85 years old and have stayed in many hotels and motels in my lifetime but this was one of the worst.

Employees are treated horrible and expected to live in squalor. The owner orders employees to overcharge guests and hunters. Employees are also ordered to leave good reviews or get fired. Rooms are in horrible condition. Rats roaches and bed bugs. Tax evasion, unsanitary living conditions, and hostile work environment. When guests were fed up with not having a key to their rooms, a master key was made for each guest in an attempt to save money. Oyo are poorly run motels where people are paying top dollar for run down rooms.

Hey y’all i never do these reviews. But you should know what your getting into. Let’s start with the tricky door with a real key that was difficult to open. I was afraid to leave my room worried i would get locked out. The bathroom had missing tile and caulking, the carpet wasn’t even carpet anymore. It was flattened, greasy, and blackened. I was worried about fleas and other bugs. The blanket on the bed was super dirty with hair stuck in it. I took it off and used my own. They had one outlet that i saw and it had the fridge, roku and tv all plugged into a power *****. The microwave wasn’t plugged in at all and one of the two outlets didn’t work. You had to plug your phone into the one bathroom outlet. There was a gap in the door causing a cold breeze all night. There was no breakfast and the towels were also disgusting. All for $80. Worst hotel i have ever stayed at.

The manager of this property, and her daughter, could not have been nicer or more accommodating.. That needs to be said first.
We visit LaCrosse 3 or 4 times a year for up to a week at a time and have stayed at this property numerous times because prices were reasonable (cheap) and we only needed a place to sleep since we were visiting family. Even though it has always been run down, wirh threadbare carpet and cracked sinks, the beds were clean and that's all I cared about. We never spent much time in the room.
This time was different. We knew the property was under new ownership and hoped that they would have started some kind of update or renovation, but no. When we checked in we were told that the keycard system was not working so we wiuld have to call the manager each time we wanted to get into the room and they would come open the door for us. Inconvenient for them, but they were always very nice about it.
Then we were notified that there was no hot water. There had not been for over 2 weeks but they were hopeful it would be fixed by the end of the week. That didn't happen. So we stayed our 3 nights and slept under a blanket I had in my car, with our own pillows. We showered at our daughter's house. How can you properly clean bedding and towels with no hot water??? You can't. This was our last stay until we see some major changes on future visits.

The room was clean the area was quiet. Although the key system wasn't working and there was no hot water. For the night it worked perfect for us. And at a really good price point.

Unfortunately, the motel was booked prior to seeing. It is run down. If you leave your room, you have to have someone let you in again. Did not feel comfortable spending the night and decided to just forfeit the cost of the stay and go elsewhere.

Old, but okay
Wish they could get a grant for improvements, my sink was clogged, light bulb burnt out on bed side lamp. The folks running the place were great. But I had no key to my room. Dont think its changed since the 1980s the A/C worked, but was loud. The price was good. Just really needs up dated!
