Where to start.... Photos on website are a lie!! Pub & restaurant closed. Shoddy, unkept and filthy! The hotel, in general. Bedroom & bathroom: Shower over bath broken. No shower curtain. No towel rails. No place to put your toiletries. Base of bed broken. Mattress has springs coming through. No kettle, tea or coffee. No hairdryer or tv. Heating doesn't work Mould on windows and wall in bedroom. Dust on light fittings. Carpet not hoovered In a nutshell.... Disgusting!! Staff: Night Porter extremely rude, obnoxious and can barely speak English.

Rooms need a bit of work that's for sure but it's perfect for a night or 2, really friendly staff, cheap and convincent for Port Vale fc. Little too far away from Alton Towers I would say, Alot of country roads to navigate. Wish the new owners well!
