Went recently the room was lovley. The host Emma was absolutely brilliant nothing was too much trouble ,the room was very clean .

Emma is a pleasent and helpful owner who went out of her way to accommodate my husband's mobility scooter. Price and amenities were very reasonable. Would definately go again and happily recommend. Parking was first come first served and most of surrounding streets are permit only parking. That said it didn't distract or deminish from our enjoyment.

Thank you so much Emma The rooms are so cosy, warm and comfortable, we managed to fully relax and recharge We cereals and snacks that you can help yourself to at breakfast are very welcome Emma is so friendly ams helpful and runs a brilliant bed and breakfast like it should be 100% we will be back We would highly recommend anyone to stay here

Greeted by a bubbly lady who's name I missed, my bad. Everything explained to me. My room was a ground floor double room with patio. Comfortable bed and a large shower. Think the only complaint I have is no hand rails but saying that it is not advertised as a disabled room and probably wouldn't be as there is a large step to go down to get to the room. Free breakfast cereals are offered also crisps, water and cans of pop. Close to railway station and the Spa, also town centre not too far away. Had a GREAT weekend and would recommend the South Dene Hotel.

Booked at last min this hotel for New Year’s Eve 2023 Can’t fault this affordable hotel . It was very clean ,lovely comfortable bed,hot shower,tea and coffee. We were room only that’s what we prefer but the owner Emma provides free snacks in the down stairs front room which I thought was a lovely touch. We were in room 10 and friends were in room 8 which was equally as nice as ours But the most impressive thing was how warm the room was which at this time of year is needed. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Bridlington and paid more per night but often heating in the rooms is hit and miss so it was a pleasure The hotel is situated about 5 to 8 min walk from promenade on the south side. Streets are free parking in this area . If you are looking a reasonable priced place to stay that’s very clean it’s ideal. I will certainly book again

The South Dene we stayed was amazing the landlady very friendly the hotel very clean she couldnt do enough for us .It didnt advertise breakfast but there was all the cereal you wanted can drinks sweets and crisp in the living room to help yourself. In rooms was tea coffee Very clean bed ding and towels very close to amentiers. Close to Marina and centre. Would defoe recommend and will be visiting again

As we arrived we were met by Emma who was lovely she explained everything and showed us to our room Our room was basic with clean fresh bedding The toilet and shower were also clean Whilst we know that the hotel needs some renovations it is still a nice place to stay

The owner has so put so much effort into making the accom nice. Lovely gesture of cereals and snacks on a morning and evening. It is what it says on the tin. A cheap clean stay. Would stay here again.
