Stayed here for one night while on a solo bike trip. A lovely old house that has been maintained to a high standard. A warm welcome from the owner who provided a good recommendation for dinner. The room (5) was comfortable and spacious. The only shortcoming was the weak shower. Otherwise a good stay and recommended.

A very warm welcome when we arrived after a wet start to our day, check in was very quick and shown to our rooms which were very spacious and really well decorated. We booked 2 nights with breakfast, the menu for a guest house was just right with a choice of full Scottish to fresh fruit, nothing was too much trouble for the lovely lady serving and she was so pleasant. The guest house is only a few hundred yard from the centre so there are a lot of places to eat in the evening. Don’t let the weather put you off visiting this Guest House.

Lovely B&B close to Elgin town centre and hospital. Run by Wilma and her ladies, who are so kind and helpful and cook a fabulous breakfast !! it's really lovely. Cosy room with comfy beds and a private bathroom and on site parking. Highly recommended

What can I say, absolutely fantastic! Friendly, welcoming and so accommodating. Perfectly maintained and cleaned. A wonderful team together making my stay there excellent. The location is ideal and very peaceful. Very happy to recommend anyone to stay at Moraydale when in Elgin and I plan to return on my next visit to the area.

Normally I stay in a hotel but this place was in my company’s budget and was in the city centre not far to be where I needed to be in the morning. Great location at the far end of the High St on the Inverness road so 2-3 mins walk to places to eat and drink. It’s a detached guest house sat back from the main road and as I was in a bedroom at the back of the house I wasn’t aware of any traffic noise. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom although shower couid be slightly better. That was my only quibble. Breakfast was really nice. A choice of cereal, cooked breakfast including omelettes, fruit yoghurts, toast and the usual orange juice and hot drinks. Would well recommend for any stay in Elgin.

This was I think our 5th stay at the Moraydale....and again didn't disappoint! We booked two rooms. Both spotlessly clean. With e everything we needed. Fantastic cooked Scottish breakfast on the Sunday morning. Many thanks to our host Wilma. Its feels like home everything we visit wo derful Moray. Looking forward to our next stay already

Stayed here as a group for a couple of nights. The location is great for walking into Elgin The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the owners were really friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.
