It was one of the horrible experience me and my wife had. This place has guest list of drunk people who bring their own music system in the beautiful nature. We feared for our safety when we arrived. We left this property as soon as possible. The bed sheet were full of stains and used. The staff showed us an attitude while changing bed sheet in front of us. If you value your money and expecting a peaceful place to stay, then choose a better place than this. This place run under the wrong advertisement of providing you sukoon which is opposite what they provide.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Complete false advertising. After seeing the website and trip advisor reviews we thought this would be a rustic but clean and family oriented stay in the mountains for me and my husband. My husband is Punjabi and local to the area, we travel throughout Asia and India often. This was but far our worst experience. We expected rustic accommodation without tv, heat, or proper shower. What we did not expect was the very very very dirty room with stained bed sheets and pillows, cobwebs from the ceiling, and incredibly rude and rough guests. Upon arrival there were several drunk Punjabi men smoking and drinking and making lewd comments to us. We are used to some negative attention as I am an American woman and my husband is Punjabi Sadar Ji. These men were is the worst kind listening to loud music until late at night and partying which sounded like it was in our room and the looks these drunks gave us and comments they made had us feeling afraid. If this is the environment they provide they should change their advertising and not lie about the environment. If they wish to attract a better clientele they need to clean up their act entirely. I am posting this to warn anyone who thinks this is a nice clean and friendly place. It is not. We had booked and prepaid 5 nights and left as early as possible the first morning. Even with our reason for leaving being our feelings of being unsafe there, they still refused to give us any refund even for the advanced nights. We were willing to pay first and even second night but 3-5th night? Most respectable hotels will refund nights cancelled 24 to 48 hours in advance. It is also a very remote location which would be fine if it met the advertised expectations but when things went wrong we felt both unsafe and without any ability to leave on our own. I cannot say enough NOT to stay here if you are in any way respectable.

Definitely recommend this eco-resort for a peaceful nature escape! They've beautifully blended modern comforts with rustic village vibes – think mud cottages, vintage switches, at the same time offers AC, hot water mixer taps, and mud made bathtubs in select rooms. The location's a bit offbeat with the bumpy narrow road making the ride more difficult. Food's great in taste but no other dining options nearby, so plan accordingly. Perfect for disconnecting and unwinding!

Excellent space at reasonable price to experience mud house stay with modern luxury. Serene view to the valley gave us wonderful memories of dawn and dusk. Hospitality offered by the staff was warm enough to make us feel at home. Pahadi tea and freshly made papadi chaat at Lala-ji-di -hatti were absolutely Awesome and Strongly recommend.

I visited this beautiful village themed resort in November and I had an amazing experience. The location is the best part and one is mesmerised by the surrounding forest. Nestled in it is this resort with flora being main attraction. The mud cottages are nicely designed. The food is amazing and staff is well behaved.

The village-themed property, complete with gardens, a kids' pool, and bonfire areas, created a rustic yet comfortable vibe perfect for unwinding amid birdsong and peacocks. Amenities like Wi-Fi, parking, and indoor games added to the convenience. Highly recommend Echor Kasauli Gaon for anyone seeking tranquility in Himachal—will definitely return!

Our recent stay at Echor Kasauli Ggaon was a truly refreshing getaway. The property embraces an old theme that beautifully blends tradition with comfort, giving the entire place a peaceful, rustic charm. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was cozy, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the surrounding hills.
