The restaurant is very good. They have added to their menu and there are lots of yummy selections. Generous servings. Good service. I especially like their chicken strips and fries, fish and chips and burgers. They also serve good liver and onions and other dinners.

This was our second time staying there and it has gone drastically unacceptable since. We arrived at the Lodge and there was no one to check us in. We rung the bell and still no one came. After 10 more minutes we rang the bell again. Finally the chef, came and basically threw the key at us and left. The room was okay although it was the smallest we had ever seen. We decided to watch TV. We tried and tried to turn it all to no avail. Finally we went to the front desk. Once again, no one was there. My husband waited 10 minutes to get the chef/manager attention. He said he would come see in our room. He came fairly fast so no complaint there. He brought a different remote control and attempted to explain it to us. His phone rang and he left. So we still had no idea what to do. We have been to several hotels and had no trouble with televisions. We eventually gave up. The lighting was low and there were no tables at all. We will not be back. We go through Cache Creek 6 times a year so we will have to find other accomadations.

Greatest burger ever! We visited and were told that this was the only place in town for a sit down meal. BUT no one told us what a gem this place is. The burgers cannot be beat. Big and meaty and juicy, yummy! BUT the best part of our visit, other than the burgers (which are the best) was our waitress. She was superb. Friendly and she had a great sense of humour. Don't miss this place if you find yourself in Cache Creek!

We stayed here overnight on way to Revy from Whistler. The rooms are very basic but clean enough although it did smell of dog, probably because it’s a pet friendly room. Didn’t eat here and got up early to drive to Revelstoke so cannot comment on anything other than the room. Personally I would stay in Kamloops not here if I was to do the dive again as this place is literally on the highway and nothing around

I booked in advance over the phone since they don't have a website. Luckily, I asked for a confirmation email. When we arrived, they had my email address on the books but not an actual reservation; the young man was able to look up the email exchange and confirm my reservation. The first room we were given had a layout that didn't work for us. The young man gave me another room to look at, which we took, and he didn't charge me the higher price for the new room. It was not large, but it had excellent AC and one of the best bathroom hairdryer nightlights that I've ever seen (the brightness could even be adjusted). We ate dinner in the restaurant, and the Chinese food was very good.

When we arrived at the Lodge in Cache Creek we were surprised a bit. It looks like a canadian lodge, but has some recent chinese touches on the outside. On the inside as well. The restaurant had a sign standing in the lobby stating "chinese food only" and all the merchandise in the lobby is being replaced with chinese stuff. Well, touring through Canada, I don't know if I need this, although the staff was extremely friendly and the lodge seems to be well managed. I don't mind chinese or chinese owned locations, but the chinese culture thrown in my face was a bit too much for my taste. That said, the room itself was nice, clean and comfy. It's a good place to stay for a night. I wouldn't recommend it though.

We arrived only a week after evacuations in the area due to flooding so were grateful it was open. Guy on reception was a bit unsure of how things worked and we had to get past a locked front door to gain entry. The Lodge is styled like a big log cabin and has a Chinese restaurant on site which was closed for the day. Room size OK and clean with the usual Fridge, Microwave, T.V, Bath/Shower, but Breakfast is not included. Wi-Fi a bit hit and miss but that was probably down to the recovery going on from the flooding. Nice place for a night or two to explore the area.
