We did not use the tub or the pool. The room is clean but I think ut needs renovation. There is a smell characteristic of old building (musty?). The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

I recently found a great spot near the freeway that's super convenient! 🛣️ The best part is how friendly the staff is; they always make me feel welcome. Plus, it's located so close to downtown SLO, making it easy to pop in and out.

Dear Hotel Buena Vista Management Team,
We recently stayed at your hotel and booked three rooms in total. Unfortunately, one of the rooms — Room 327 — was located right next to the highway and was extremely noisy throughout the entire night. The noise was so severe that the four of us staying in that room were unable to sleep at all.
This situation caused us significant discomfort and exhaustion, and it seriously affected our schedule the next day. Providing guests with a quiet and restful environment is a basic expectation of any hotel, but Room 327 clearly failed to meet that standard.
Therefore, we are strongly requesting a full refund for Room 327 due to the unacceptable noise conditions. Please respond as soon as possible and let us know how the refund will be processed.
We look forward to your prompt attention and resolution to this matter.

Room was comfy, could use a better shower head and a little more space in the restroom.But it was a nice hotel which was close to where my wife and I like to be.

The location if the hotel is very close to the university which makes it very convenient. The hotel is not fancy, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has very limited options that aren't very healthy. The parking is very tight.
