Beforehand we spoke about the possibilities of travelling here with a disability. All seemed fine and we were given promised room. The intentions surely were good I suppose. The view is absolutely spectacular, but sadly for us it didn't weigh up against the total hassle of having to lug around my wheelchair up stairs, down steep slopes on which the building is built. Absolutely no effort has been put in to make the building accessible in any way. Same goes for the "parking lot" which is really a horror to get to in the first place on a Sunday when people park wherever they please. The rest of the town is fine for the adventurous wheelchair users like myself who don't mind a few slopes. All in all it was a total misjudgement on our part I guess.... We won't be back unless serious changes are made to mentioned accessibility (I mean, it's 2024... I don't believe the rules are that much different in Greece then they are elsewhere regarding building accessibility). Apart from all that the room was nice and clean and the cleaning lady Sonia is an absolute treasure. Bathrooms are the smallest we've ever had, but the least of our worries :) We made the best of it, but had expected more of a holiday feeling instead the worries we got.
