My husband, sister, and brother-in-law stayed at Larkins on a Saturday night in July 2023, and we had a wonderful time! We arrived and checked-in shortly before dinner time. After settling into our rooms, we headed down to the pub/dining area, and Michael, one of the proprietors, seated us immediately and recommended the Irish roast beef dinner, which was wonderful. We were delighted to have been treated to live trad music while dining. What's more, it was the weekend of the Lugnasadh Festival, so we also enjoyed the outdoor trad music concert with multiple artists as well as ice cream from on of the food and treat concessions set up there. James, also one of the proprietors, had texted me prior to when we left the US to let us know that we had booked during this wonderful festival and would be able to enjoy the trad music we had hoped for! The sleeping and bath rooms were clean and comfortable and everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and the breakfast in the private upstairs dining room was excellent! We will definitely be heading back to Larkins on our next visit to Ireland!

Perfect pub - comfortable rooms, easy parking, good dinner and a well poured Guinness. The Larkin family provided a perfect stay and showed the beauty of a real Irish pub/hotel. Tip- Wednesday around 9:30pm musicians drop in to play traditional Irish music. No script, authentic and organic jam session. Priceless. The evening started with a violin, 2 accordions, a concertina and Irish drum like instrument and finished with 3 concert flutes & bag pipes!
