Stayed here for two nights after attending a funeral. I very rarely stay in B&Bs in Ireland as I am from Ireland and if I'm travelling to a different part, I'd stay in a hotel or with friends. But Teach Campbell reminded me of travelling back in time to the 1990s & going on holidays around Ireland with my parents. Terribly friendly family & lovely they all speak irish, as so do I. Unable to move having drank too much wine after a funeral, they nursed me through a hangover & allowed me to stay another night as I was unfit to drive back to Dublin! Donegal is most definitely the most beautiful part of ireland & Bunbeg is well situated to reach the nicest parts. B&Bs are not hotels. So keep the expectations realistic. It is an opportunity to stay with a nice family in clean accommodation & have a nice breakfast. At 80 euros a night, I'd pick it any day over a hotel. The prices of hotels in ireland currently are exorbitant

We had a warm friendly welcome and well looked after nothing to much trouble even with help drying our swimming gear, The place has character and charm, it was clean, tidy and warm with a comfortable bedroom and modern bathroom. There is a large lounge with tea, coffee, biscuits and magnificent views. Breakfast was good with reasonable choice. We stayed for 4 days with no complaints and great value

The nicest warmest welcome we got from the lovely gentle soul Moya, and her lovely daughter Maria. Right from the start of our weekend Maria was so attentive & couldn't do enough for us. I will certainly be back, a homely warm welcome, and the breakfast was great, the beds comfortable not to mention her secret recipe for her (honey) My lips are sealed. Thank you Moya and Maria. If you fancy a pint Sean Ogs Pub across the road, was great, chowder 100%.

If you are a parent/s of a teenage son or daughter doing the Junior Cert and thinking of sending your little treasures to the Gaeltachth for two weeks in Gweedore I highly recommend you ring Moya or Marie to book your stay. Teac Campbells is a traditional family run B&B with a heritage behind it of hard work and graft to make it the establishment it is. You will find it a friendly comfortable and homely place to relax. This is not like a modern hotel or state of the art Airbnb. If that's what your after move on now! It's a quintessential family run establishment. Homely and warm. The best part of the stay is the welcome from Moya and her daughter Marie. They couldn't do enough for us. On hand to give great advise of the local area. The rooms are cosy, clean and maintained. Tea and coffee are available free in the TV/Reading room. Nearest beach in 3 mins by car just adjacent to the house. Taking you to Bunbeg Strand. I can't thank Moya and Marie enough for looking after us. They are two beautiful souls who offer a warm and welcoming smile on arrival. After a brief rest and leg stretch after the drive we took the young ones for a dip on the strand for an hours or two. The crystal clear Atlantic tide heading back out in to the wild blue yonder. Then back to base a quick change on over the road for a delightful culinary journey at #SeanOgsBar and Restaurant, where the menu boasts an array of delectable seafood, steaks, curries and veg dishes crafted from local produce, accompanied by a vibrant atmosphere filled with live entertainment and Sport on the many big screens. #SeafoodloversDelight #championsleaguefinal2024 During your stay, be sure to also explore these five must-visit sites: Glenveagh National Park - Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of lush gardens and rugged mountains. The Devils Glrn Mount Errigal - Challenge yourself with a hike up Donegal’s tallest peak for breathtaking views. Dunlewey Centre - Discover the cultural heritage with craft demonstrations and traditional music. Gweedore Golf Club - Enjoy a round of golf amidst the stunning scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way. Slieve League Cliffs - Witness some of Europe’s highest sea cliffs and the expansive ocean beyond. For those documenting their adventures on social media, encapsulate the essence of your visit with the hashtag #GweedoreMemories #BunbegBound #SeanOgsSeafood #TeacCampbellsBB Whether you’re seeking tranquility or adventure, Bunbeg in Gweedore Donegal is a destination that truly has it all. If you're up from a drive East to West and the weather's good. Make that phone call to confirm that booking. Thanks so much Moya & Marie ❤️
