We recently enjoyed High Tea at La Residence Hotel in Franschhoek, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The sweet and savoury treats were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel truly appreciated throughout our visit. I am home now and fondly remembering my delightful stay of three nights at La Residence. "Exquisite" is an understatement in describing this luxury hotel in the beautiful winelands of Franschhoek, South Africa. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by both Ray and Nuzaan, and all the staff members, as I began my journey into the epitome of luxury accommodations and service. Delicious culinary delights in an outstandingly beautiful environment...what more could one ask??? La Residence now surpasses some of my favorites across Europe and in particular in France. After 27 wonderful days in South Africa....this was at the top of the highlights of my trip. The culture that has been created at this extraordinary destination is remarkable and superbly enhanced by perfection in the custom, handpicked antique French decor and artwork personally selected by the Biden's. On a daily basis I was delighted by engaging conversation with you, Craig, who continually exuded gracious hospitality and pride in representing this fine hotel. I was also privileged to meet and be warmly greeted each evening by Victor and Florence, true additional ambassadors of the hotel. I can only hope to return to this incredible venue in the future..... In the interim, I will definitely recommend La Residence with the vigor to all my friends, family and colleagues.
