Kudehya has 3 lovely rooms, each with its own bathroom and patio. One room is small but has a functioning kitchen. The set-up was perfect for our family and the six of us really enjoyed being there. The gardens are lush, thanks to Marco watering them every evening, and the place feels safe. The dogs, Brownie and Hurricane, are very sweet. There is a path down to the beach where you can go for long walks around the bay or walk the other way into Treasure Beach to visit the many good beach-front restaurants. An idyllic spot where all you hear is the sound of crashing waves.

Such a lovely spot. Access to beach, lovely rooms. Marco and owner Peggy were around to help. Let’s not forget dogs Brownie and Hurricane, so cute. Clean. Water and coffee/tea provided. Own garden and places to sit. So pretty. Hot at night but central fan and mobile fan helps.

An amazing place with direct access to the beach, with nice rastafari vibes and colours, a wonderful garden very well cared for by Marco, and beautiful murals from painter Delroy Millwood, whom I had the pleasure to watch paint while I was there. The rooms are very well equipped and confortable. The upper room has an amazing view over the sea, see pictures! The host Peggy is very kind and interesting, I had super nice chats with her. They will also give you lots of advice on what there is to visit around and how to get there, and help you book if necessary. I can only highly recommend this place for your holiday!

We stayed in the double room with kitchenette and loved sitting on our back patio. After taking a walk along the beach, we also enjoyed using the outdoor shower. Appreciated the complimentary coffee and water, as well as having the option to hang out on the upper deck while there were no other guests around. Overall, we had a great stay! Only wish that the outdoor furniture wasn't so bulky and hard to sit in.

We do support local industries where we can. Choice is limited and in keeping with Simple and Natural do not want plastic. We will talk with our craftsman and see if we can lighten the load. Very disappointing - the room needs some significant TLC, cracked tiles, old fridge and a very dated bathroom, we werent looking for luxury just something that was properly maintained. There were only 3 pillows on the bed, and the room was too light at night due to the garden lighting which was left on all through the night. The furniture was slightly the wrong side of shabby chic. Someone switched off our water pump so that we were unable to have a shower on our last night/morning. As we were leaving the owner showed us where the switch was (we would never have found it ourselves) when we told her there was a problem with the water pressure. There is no air conditioning so I would imagine that it is VERY hot in summer as it was borderline too hot in January. Also not a good place if you don't like dogs as the owners two quite large and very barky dogs roam free

Kudehya! I understand what it means in patois. Yet, for me, it means the "secret place." There, is where I get to disconnect from the world and its distractions. The space and the staff are always loving and welcoming. Bad vibes aren't allowed to cross the threshold! Such a sacred space. The ocean, the lush greenery, flowers... Mother Nature is very present. I give the greatest thank you to the hosts. They are very attentive and sensitive to the needs of your stay. I feel relaxed and safe when I'm within Kudehya! Not many can say that about their own homes. If you need to exhale, Ku deh (look) at Kudehya. You'll find rest and peace of mind. Blessings.

Beautiful place. Beautiful view. Beautiful people. We loved sleeping so close to the ocean. Marco (the manager/caretaker) was full of local information as well as Jamaican history. He arranged our ride to Pelican Bar (he knows everybody) and gave us a tour of the local restaurants. Many within walking distance. It is very safe in Treasure beach. We walked up and down the beach along with walking to restaurants. Lashings restaurant (2 doors down) was our go to spot each morning for breakfast on the beach. Note: when walking from guesthouse to beach on their private trail, don't step on the crabs that share the trail.
