Avoid at all cost , very horrible place to stay on your vacation, the rooms are unkept, siting of mold and they would charge you to shift rooms without consideration. Make the extra effort to give somewhere worth your visit.

Comfy, great staff who were terrific about helping us find a substitute tour at the last minute, good price. Everything in Caye Caulker is within walking distance pretty much. The whole island has water issues, so not hotel's fault that not always enough water for shower. Tap water is not drinkable on Caye Caulker fyi.

Booked unit 18 thru VRBO. Site did not specify it was located at Popeyes, nor that it was on the 3rd floor up steep steps. Would not have booked this if the ad had been accurate, as I have back problems. No drinking water in unit, air conditioner could not keep up, toilet barely flushed, towels were thread bare , safe did not work, no where to hang clothes…. When we complained , nothing was done at all. We checked out and went elsewhere- but absolutely no refund was allowed. We contacted the site managers and the owners - both were very unhelpful. The ad for this suite is deceptive about the location & amenities - be careful if you book this location. We would not return or recommend this unit.

Booked this place online but got issues with my credit card (which I use at least 5 times a day, never had this before or after, only at Popeyes). Asked them 3 times to still keep my booking, since i can pay cash at the spot and since I would arrive the next day. They never bothered to send me a reply. 17 minutes before I arrived I got a message that my booking was cancelled by Popeyes. Staff at the counter was very indifferent and rude. It’s a cheap place and I guess you get for what you pay.

This place is awful. I had to move rooms due to my room being so full of mould and damp, and when I did they made me pay to move rooms. You should not have to pay to stay in a room that is not a health hazard. There is no restaurant or spa as stated. Everything is dirty including the towels I was given and I would just avoid this place at all costs.

The location of this spot is excellent, with the ocean views being very nice, and plenty of wonderful food within walking distance. The layout of the room is nice, with a small sectional, a big enough mattress, and a larger than expected shower. HOWEVER, the mattress and pillows were abysmal, and caused me back and neck pain. I ended up swapping the bed pillows with couch pillows so I could sleep. The water pressure is also awful. And most importantly, the customer service was mid at best. Before this morning I definitely would still have recommended this place. But I was told check out is at 10, while never being told their office doesn’t open until 9. Myself and multiple other guests were left scrambling to figure out a way to leave before we missed our flights/boats. When trying to contact the managers for the room I was in (different rooms have different managers), they did not answer and I could not leave a voicemail. I was eventually able to contact a manager for a different room, who did prove helpful (shout out to Richard!) So we all ended up dumping our keys and hoping for the best. A very not fun end to a mostly wonderful trip.

Felt unsafe, kinda grungy, reception was not warm and everything including drinking water was extra. Room was dark, but the AC was extra cold. The door lock was a tiny suitcase lock on a sliding glass door with only one key.
