We didn't get a room with 2 queen beds as we booked. It was filthy: the shower and sink had soap and dirt all over them. They looked as if they hadn't been wiped down from the previous occupants. The smoke alarm was missing with wires exposed. The rickety fridge had milk in it that expired 4 days ago. The mirror and windows were dirty. It did not smell fresh or clean.

My bathroom had mold growing in the caulking around the tub. Unfinished edges stuffed with plastic around toilet paper holder, paint and caulking all over the tub and counter, and the mirror was really dirty. There was also a vehicle that kept revving their engine outside my door around 10pm. After a long day of travel (I left Va at 6am that same day.) I was definitely asleep and got woken up several times because of it. The bed/sheets did appear clean and was comfortable. There was a large gap under my door as well. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Awful
Our tv in the room didn’t work. A guy came to fix it, said he was going to go get something to fix it and never came back. I booked a single and was given a double. The air conditioner barely works. The pictures online do not match the rooms or property in person. Beds are uncomfortable.

Post-WW2 era building
I was amazed at how this aging building, with minimal upkeep, can continue to operate as a modern day Motel 6. I wouldn't go so far to call it “Ancient Ruins”, but some things should've been repaired or replaced long ago. With poorly fitting doors in their frames and strange wiring that would baffle any licenced electrician, this post-WW2 era motel is a relic from yester-year. Some of the units (but not all) actually have working toilets. Other plumbing issues are of concern.
Last year I stayed in a very nice, modern Motel 6 in Houston. But this one in Forrest City falls short of “acceptable”.

I didn't like that the motel was nasty and had roaches. The cost for the motel is to much and need to get some more cleaning people.
