"Fabulous" is the word I'd use to describe both La Cordonnerie and its owners. From what was once a shoe repair shop, Armelle and Michel Debrus have created a comfortable 3-room hotel -- with a great garden, superb breakfast and terrific location on a side street in the tiny town of Villandraut. Lots of excursions into the countryside (and to sights such as the Chateau de Roquetaillade, nearby) are possible from here. And the warm welcome, helpful suggestions, and friendly conversation made our visit an especially wonderful experience. (Reasonable prices too.) Thank you Armelle and Michel!
