Our room was wonderful, the bath was so nice and roomy.
The staff was so nice, Connie & Kathy was so helpful and cheerful. Bob who was in charge of the breakfast buffet was so cheerful and keep everything well stocked. The waffle dispenser ran out and he said he’d be back in 30 seconds for a new container, he had another one in the back. He was back in 27 seconds. He couldn’t do enough to keep everyone happy. Bob is amazing!!! We didn’t use the hot tub, so I have no comment. This hotel goes beyond your expectations. I have stayed in many hotels but this one stands out from most others. I will definitely be recur!!!

Located adjacent to the Porcupine Mountain State Park, the location is ideal. The rooms are nice, the food good, and it has a spacious pool.

We had a crap ton of flies in our room, had to get a fly swatter from the front desk. The next day we told housekeeping what happened. Ask for our room to be cleaned because of all the flies. All house keeping did was give us clean towels. Never swept or vacuumed up the dead flies. We never did get a free fly day or night.

Only bad thing was no early check ins on the day we arrived. Everything else great. Food at attached restaurant was ok

Poor customer service
We normally come up to Silver City and stay at this hotel during the fall colors well this will most likely be our last time. We arrived at the hotel a little early (2:15 ish) and decided to see if our room was ready, instead of the front desk attendant telling us politely that we were early and couldn’t Check in until 3:00 we received attitude and snarkyness, and come to find out our room was indeed ready, when she asked me to see my drivers licenses and credit card I told her I checked in early via a text I received so I shouldn’t have to provide that information (but I provided it anyways) I then received a lecture on how pre check in is not the same as early check in, again not friendly at all. Also when we got into our room it smelled like an ash tray, I thought your hotel is smoke free.

酒店回复: Thanks for the review! Normally check in is at 3 but regardless I personally apologize for the employees snarkyness and will have my GM look into this. As for the id/credit card even if you do it online, we still need to verify those items as the both the software requires us and so do the rules we follow. This is both to protect you the customer and us the hotel as anyone could walk up and say they are you or another guest. Our hotel is smoke free, and I will look into this as well. I do apologize for any inconvenience and hope you have a wonderful day.

Restaurant service was poor, food was only warm from the kitchen. Had to wait an hour for dinner. Not an inviting atmosphere.

This hotel is well located but it just seems a bit off in condition and service. The gentleman working during breakfast was a very nice guy and very helpful, but the food was not very good and not healthy (None of that was his fault). We loved the Porcupine Mountain Park but were happy to leave after a day of hiking and begin driving home that afternoon despite paying for the room and not being offered a refund. The front desk staff was not the most helpful or pleasant. FYI, the park welcome center is open until November 1 in response to increased visitor numbers. Yes, I paid for another room down the road a couple of hours, because I was happy to get out of this place. Others may be happy staying here, I was happy to leave.

The room was clean. The pool was closed due to a leak which was alright. Saying it’s in the middle of nowhere our cell service was SOS. We were accepting of this thinking there would be decent WiFi. However, even though was an amenity that was offered, it was horrible. We couldn’t plan more stops on our trip saying we couldn’t look up anything.

As for the Wi-Fi we do have fiber optic and boasters throughout the hotel. I will have our IT department look into the issue. We do also have a guest computer at the front desk for all customers to use free of charge. We apologize for the inconvenience.
