I've stayed here before and this is my preferred stay in Mariehamn. No frills, but a comfy bed waiting to be slept in and very decent pricing. The bed is already made when you arrive. This time I got a double room as solo traveller. A great choice if not wanting to pay a lot for a hotel.

As used to staying at hostels and being aware of what to expect I was very positively surprised with the experience - especially after having read some of the more negative reviews here. The Hostel is located very close to the ferry terminal in Mariehamn and within walking distance from the city center and the bus terminal if coming through Eckerö. It is also located on a very quiet street and the staff had prepared everything I needed for my one night stay. I never meet any staff as there was self check in and self check out. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. There was also a sink in the the room which I had to myself. I guess December is low season so not that many guests (I believe it was just me and one more). The room and the premises ere also very clean.
