We were given a gift voucher for Christmas 2024 and decided to upgrade and use it at Saltmarshe Hall for an afternoon tea experience. What a lovely surprise, although we live in Leeds, we had never heard of it, only being 35 mile away. The hall is tucked away, on the banks of the river Ouse, up a narrow lane. Once we turned into the drive, we were very happy to see a lovely large house, obviously quite old but well maintained. The staff greeted us and showed us to a seating area outside on a patio, which was covered by large parasols ( which was good, due to the sun 🌞) the afternoon tea was lovely, being vegetarian l was catered for on a separate plate. Cakes were nice, lovely lemon squares. But the setting made it for us, we finished the day with a walk around the grounds, which were beautifully kept. We are now considering a stay there for a weekend away.

Absolutely stunning location and beautiful hotel with an absolute touch of class and luxurious stay! The bar, library, grounds, room and restaurant was absolutely amazing. Really enjoyed my stay!

Just returned from a fabulous one night stay here with a friend and our dogs! The setting and grounds are gorgeous and very well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent! Wish we had booked to stay longer, despite the hotel being quite remote and not too easy to find. Would definitely recommend!

My husband booked Saltmarsh Hall to celebrate my 70th Birthday with our family. There were 13 of us for Sunday Lunch. The Hall and Grounds are beautiful, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The food was amazing and the service 5 star. We all really enjoyed our afternoon and would throughly recommend Saltmarsh Hall, We will definitely be returning to dine at Saltmarsh Hall.

We stayed at saltmarshe hall for 2 nights had a lovely stay the hall is spotless and the staff are very attentive and friendly and we had food there both nights the food was excellent and reasonably priced definitely recommend this place and will definitely return.

We have had a lovely stay in Saltmarshe Hall.Its an amazing place and fully lived up to our expectations from the unique location beautiful grounds and classy accommodation.The food is fantastic and presented beautifully .The staff are so helpful and friendly .Nothing was too much trouble for them .On first arrival we were greeted warmly by reception staff this continued throughout our stay.Every member of staff we met was delightful.Mark is a lovely man .He served us breakfast and lunch and gave us a great insight to the history of the Hall he is very knowledgeable .Amanda and Sara the ladies who looked after the rooms were great and keep the rooms spotless everywhere is immaculate which given the size of the hall is no mean feat .They went the extra mile when I asked about the north wing of the house by showing me round the rooms and showing me a few more suites ( we had upgraded to the Howdenshire Suite ) and we were keen to see what other options were available .Thank you ladies .Our suite was just fabulous lots of room ,,comfortable bed lots of extras and luxurious fluffy towels comfy bed huge bath we lacked for nothing.There are lovely walks around the hall the river was the icing on the cake..If you need a relaxing break or to be spoilt and need a treat I would highly recommend this place .

我们去 Saltmarsh 喝了下午茶，玩得很开心。工作人员非常乐于助人，尤其是 Chloe。下午茶本身非常棒，还附赠了一杯香槟。一定会再来，夏天的时候可以欣赏花园。
