Before checking in we reserved 3 rooms with king size bed around 4 weeks in advance. When we arrived we were told our rooms with king beds have been given to other guests. We did not receive any update prior to our arrival. We were given 3 queen rooms. Something we did not reserve. Poor customer service.

We've been through a few hotels so far on our road trip and this Tru in Lawrence, IN has been the BEST! We are a family with 2 basically under 2 years of age so we're picky with where we stay: hotel itself AND the area. We were so pleasantly surprised with the town of Lawrence, specifically this newer construction area near Otis. Everything we needed was walking distance! A brand new public library, stores, multiple food options, playgrounds. The hotel seemed to be very new as well. It was so clean and comfortable! I didn't feel like we'd find anything gross or moldy in our room. The lobby area was fresh and the breakfast was superb!
I have to give a special shout-out to the staff because each of them went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we and our babies were taken care of. Specifically, Terrence was very personable and gave us some awesome recommendations for what to do in the area with our littles. He went out of his way to gather information for us and make life easier for us!
I highly recommend this hotel because of its cleanliness, staff and safe environment / location. We'd visit again FOR SURE!

Building is poorly constructed and cheap. Heard every footstep from the room above mine.
Clean room. Friendly staff.
Only complaint is the thin walls and floors.

The place is approximately 30 min car ride away from downtown. If you decide to take the bus, which is around two blocks away from the building, the bus ride takes an hour to get to downtown.

Very nice
Clean and modern. Front office staff super nice; ms Jackson and Val I believe. Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at.

Staff rude
I was very upset with the staff because I paid for a room with the tub and I did not get one and then I wanted one bag got too bad. She was like it’s the same price you just get what’s left
