The staff member that was at the desk as i was leaving was engaging. I mentioned forgetting a Giardelli dark chocolate with blood orange in a hotel refrigerator and she recommended Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.I appreciate her way of showing compassion even for something as simple as a chocolate bar. Other than her, it felt like i was being intentionally ignored. Which I'm used to.

Liked our room A lot. Only negative was this is the first motel I’ve ever been to that doesn’t have free coffee in the morning in the lobby. Dumb.

Shower design makes your whole bathroom flood
Great location, comfortable bed, but the shower & bathroom will frustrate you and pose a serious accident risk. They designed the shower to have a glass wall with no door. This would be fine except the glass wall covers only half of the shower enclosure. So water splashes out of the shower, covering a good portion of the floor. This is a serious slip risk (I know first hand). Our solution was to put multiple towels down, which only collected some of the water. Honestly, you would not believe how bad this is. When I went to the front desk to ask for additional towels, telling the front desk it was bc the shower, the clerk said, oh yeah, it's every room. How this place hasn't been sued I don't know bc I have no doubt someone has slipped the first time they took a shower. There is literally nothing to stop water from spraying onto the floor, and no amount of manipulating the shower head will prevent the flooding of your bathroom.
Besides this shower issue, the hotel is really nice. Many restaurants nearby and the staff was great.

Didn't get the top floor as requested but the room I had was convenient for access, and fortunately I didn't have loud noises above me.

Superb hotel! Clean, well maintained and customer service were outstanding!! A classic example on how all hotels should be! Check-in was painless and quick! Outstanding overall!! Definitely will stay there again!!
