It was an excellent trip in a wonderful hotel. The young and dynamic staff provided me with the Information and help I asked for without hesitating for a second.

We stayed for one night, before heading back to Ålesund to fly back home. The area was charming and when we entered the hotel we were met by very friendly staff who offered lots of information and we felt welcomed. The look of the hotel was nice and modern and the room was comfortable. The beds can be two twins put together and have their own duvet for each side - had an amazing night’s sleep! The breakfast the next day was a fantastic choice of hot and cold options. And all of it was delicious. We even tried the different herrings they offered! One thing to note: their restaurant is closed on Sundays. But there are great places to eat nearby. I look forward to staying again.

Named after a famous Norwegian philologist, who assembled one of the two official written versions of the Norwegian language, this hotel is located close to the main shopping centre, fjord side and is a 5-minute drive from the airport. It has plenty of free parking. Clean, modern, open in design it had large well-equipped bedrooms – some overlooking the fjord and others overlooking a park. Ours had a flat screen TV, two single beds, a desk for working, good fast free wi-fi, a hairdryer, a bathroom with shower, a hanging space for clothes, an easy chair and a small, pleasant balcony. We noted that the bathroom floor was electrically heated. Breakfast was close to reception in a large open plan area with lots of tables and an excellent range of all sorts of foods ranging from croissants, to cooked breakfasts, to yoghurt and fruit to cold meats and cheese – and lots of fresh bread too. It was a good display and included in the price. We received a warm personal welcome at reception and paid £116 for bed and breakfast. We did not eat our evening meal there but walked (5 mins) to the pizza restaurant in the nearby shopping mall.

The manager is pleasant but the hotel is less than average, everything squeaks, the batroom didn't have a glass cell only a curtain and the water splashed all over. Breakfast was OK but everything ran out very quickly and you have to wit until the staff fills in the missing items.

329 号房间 - 友好的欢迎，房间可以住一晚，但不能住更长的时间，早餐还可以，提供 Nespresso 咖啡，有一个酒吧，但提供的东西很少，房间太热，没有空调。
