we were very much looking forward to spending two peaceful nights in a trullo, but our stay turned into a nightmare. here are a few points for future guests to take in account: - there are very noisy birthday parties that make the bed and walls vibrate till late into the night. when we complained, the owners didn't even try to propose a solution except that the volume of the music was lowered for 10 minutes before returning to the disco volume. - our shower had no hot water the first night, and for 130 euros a night, I would definitely expect that to be verifies before guests arrive. additionally, the piece that attaches the shower head to the wall was brocken. when we spoke to the owners about this, they said it could be fixed. for the standard the agritourismo promises, this needs to be done before guests complain about it. - the agritourismo that sells their concept as being organic and nature friendly, serves breakfast in plastic plates and cups, creating heaps of unnecessary plastic trash every day. the products served for breakfast are also largely wrapped in plastic and not homemade. - we were traveling with a dog, which we had informed about in advance before booking. it seemed to not be an issue at all, but when we arrived we were told to be careful with one of the owners dogs as he apparently shows aggressive behavior towards other male dogs. this means that our dog was on the leash the entire time and in danger of being attacked by this dog who roams the property freely. in the morning i tried to walk our dog in the direction i was advised to go by the owner, and after only three minutes the owner's dog came barking against us and i was lucky to make it back to the room safely. this is an absolutely disrespectful way to treat guests. we are people who are respectful of others needs and did not ask for them to tie their dog up the entire day, but a compromise for both dogs to spend some time outside separately would have been appropriate. - after all this and our clear disappointment, the owners did not even agree on a price reduction. all in all we would never stay here again.
