My family of four stayed at the Vila Mina for a week in August 2024. It was a very good stay overall. Room: We had a deluxe lake view studio which wasn’t very spacious but well-equipped with A/C, TV, kitchenette, hair dryer and two balconies, one with a table and chairs and overlooking the lake. The room was nicely decorated and clean to begin with, though it was never cleaned during our stay. We never got fresh towels, either. All housekeeping ever did was empty the dustbin and bring us toilet paper. Grounds and beach: There are a playground, a bar serving drinks and snacks and a barbecue area for guests to use. The swimming pool isn’t very big but is nice enough. It is surrounded on three sides by a nice lake view terrace with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a small beach with a beach bar and water sports provider just down the drive and across the street. The lake is beautiful and the water is very nice, the beach was never crowded. Breakfast: The food was very good with plenty of choice. Breakfast was buffet style and mostly vegetarian, lots of local dishes, lots of fresh fruit. The coffee was good as well. Staff: Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, although, as mentioned, housekeeping didn’t really do any work in our room during our stay. The owner was always about asking guests whether they were enjoying their stay and whether everything was alright. He was very nice indeed. Location: The hotel’s location steps from the beach is really nice. There are two restaurants and a few small shops within walking distance. Ohrid town is a few minutes’ drive away.

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa with my son and we had the most amazing time. The views are incredible and the staff were so polite and friendly. I highly recommend.l this hotel to anyone visiting ohrid. Rooms were spacious and clean.
