If you stay in Galashiels stay here. Great value, lovely clean rooms and modern. The staff are friendly and professional. The pub is great (you can’t hear it from your room) it’s just a lovely place to stay in the heart of Galashiels

An excellent find. Warm, comfortable room with all the amenities you could ask for. Quiet room despite being on the first floor in what is essentially a pub with rooms. Good, no nonsense food. Not Egon Ronay, but very good standard fare. Friendly staff and locals in the very busy bar, no issue with being a Sassenach here. Only minor gripes were the lack of a car park and no cask beer, but that won’t prevent a return. A really good find.
