The orange french toast and yogurt parfait for breakfast were fantastic. The rooms were really nice and the staff was very attentive. Ferndale is like walking onto a hallmark movie set. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend getaway.

A little gem in rural CA. Magnificent property converted into quaint B&B has in room clawfoot bath tub. Spectacualr breakfast featuring produce from local farms.

Shaw House Inn is an amazing place to stay! The inn is well maintained, the bed was very comfortable, we felt comfortable making use of the common areas, and the breakfast was farm-fresh and delicious! Would highly recommended Shaw House Inn.

The breakfasts were wonderful. Staff was very friendly, but was unavailable to show how to work the TV, for which no directions were furnished. Management is quite new, and some things, like the exterior landscaping, is a work in progress at this point. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and a clawfoot tub in the bathroom. The inn's location is terrific and makes it handy to walk the whole town. There's a gorgeous garden right next door that is a must see. We had a wonderful time
