First let me say that I really did try to politely and constructively give feedback to someone on the phone that said they were a manager and they didn't even apologize for our experience they said "ok thanks". I generally don't leave a bad review and try to provide feedback directly, but I will surely say that this experience and the lack of concern when I tried to talk to the manager has prompted me to do so. I spent the night in a freezing cold room. I called the front desk and asked for blankets because it was so cold and the heat was not doing anything at all. I was provided with two blankets and a space heater, which was tiny (like the kind you put under your desk for your feet). The little heater had no impact on me seeing my actual breath in the air. The bathroom was in bad shape, with the fixtures in the shower all askew and the caulk was pink in spots with mildew. The hot water only produced lukewarm water, which didn't do anything to help with the frozen tundra atmosphere. I get that things happen to systems and such, but paying to stay in an icebox, with no explanation or even a "I'm sorry about this" is just not ok. Normally Residence Inns are decent, but this was a really bad experience and disappointing.

I booked this hotel through *******. From the outside, the property looked brand new—clean, shiny, and very inviting. I’d give the exterior an A+. The lobby and entrance were also really nice, definitely another A+.
However, once we got to the room, things started to feel different. You could tell there had been some remodeling, but it seemed more like a “cover-up” than a true renovation.
Customer service at check-in was polite and helpful, but there was an issue with the booking. ******* had our room listed as having a balcony, but when we checked in, the staff said they don’t even have balcony rooms. That was disappointing and a frustrating way to start.
Later that night, when we returned to the room, we realized the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly. The front of the suite had a little cooling, but the bedroom was very uncomfortable. We actually ended up going to the front desk to get a fan.
Overall, while the outside and lobby gave a great first impression, the room quality and AC issues left us unsatisfied. Because of these problems, I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again.

I spent 11 nights at this hotel while my husband was in the ICU at a nearby hospital. Jessica and Solomon were kind, courteous and took care of anything I needed to make my stay perfect. They delivered Ritz Carlton service at a Residence Inn location. The hotel itself is very nice - rooms are clean and could use a refresh. Breakfast is the usual. But the service these two delivered made it all worthwhile. They are truly gems in the hospitality industry and I hope the company that owns this hotel recognizes this.

In Mississippi for 2 weeks for work. My first week was great, but the second week started off a little rocky. I've unfortunately encountered some major issues with my stay, the even front desk agent was very unacommonadating with my concerns and did not take them seriously. As a result I called the Mississippi State Police for further assistance. This event caused me to be late the following morning, however in mist of it all I spoke with Octavia and she took the steps needed to correct part of my issue and then Jessica came in and followed up to help even further. Those two did more in 5 mins then Tyree did the night before which caused me to run late the next morning. I hope to reach out to the Manager and resolve my concerns. Thanks to Octavia and Jessica for all the help.

Work travel can be grueling. I have stayed at the Residence Inn Jackson Eastover many times over the past several years. Recently, when a new business engagement brought me back to Jackson, there was no question about where I would stay. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Jessica B always looks out for me to select the location of the rooms that I like. The property is always clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s located in a very nice part of town that is not far from shopping and restaurants. It is very nice after a hard day’s work to return to the Residence Inn. I truly feel like I am coming home.

The room was filthy. My socks were sticking to the carpet. There was no shower curtain and when I asked if there was an option to have a shower curtain, I was told no. The room was stinky. If cleanliness is importing I would skip this hotel.

Located in the new District area, this was aa very nice place. The staff was excellent. Jessica B. allowed me to stay an extra hour as my wife was finishing up at an Art Show. The Breakfast was your average hotel breakfast but good coffee. If you want a muffin, get there early :). Excellent shower and the AC was very efficient even on a 100' day. They were cleaning up the pool so we were not able to use it but was good size. They advertise a putting green but the picture on the website and the actual putting green were nothing alike but it is there. The hotel is near a shopping center that is walking distance with a drug store, restaurant and shops. It is only 8 minutes from Fondrum where some excellent restaurants are located. Worth the stay.
