Lovely hotel but the lobby coffee was always lukewarm. It may have been the same tepid pot of coffee the entire 48 hours I was there.

Not so great a stay Forsyth location
Room was comfy . We checked in at almost midnight. Traveling for a funeral just needed to stop and sleep. He gave us a room right by the highway. Lots of traffic noise. Told the lady the next day and she responded that I should have had some ear plugs. Asked for a receipt at check out and was told that they could not provide one.

Gross room that smelled like puke. Air conditioner did not work. Moved to another room that smelled liked cigarette smoke. Won’t stay there again

Moldy
The exterior of the hotel was very nice and inviting, and the staff was kind.
Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. When we first walked in, it smelled musty. Since it was just a one-night stay, we turned the AC on and hoped it would help. By the next morning, the smell was still there and we realized the AC had mold. The shower also had mold around the edges, and the wall behind the door had paint literally melting down.
Overall, not what I expected and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Decent location. Bed was pretty comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Gym was small but had a good variety of equipment. We did pay for an upgraded room with a Jacuzzi tub but it was dirty and the water came out yellow, so we couldn't use it. (The water from the other faucets seemed fine, only this one was very yellow and left a gross ring around the tub. We were unable to use the Jacuzzi at all) Also, we were taking a nap during the day, and we had our do not disturb thing on the door. Housekeeping and another staff member knocked on the door very loudly at 2:00 p.m. just to ask us if we wanted to exchange our towels. Incidentally the other staff member had the key card in her hand as if she were about to enter the room. I told them that we could exchange towels and they told us to put our old towels outside of the door, and it took them 2 hours to bring us replacement towels after they banged on the door and woke us up for no reason. I reported this to the front desk guy and he said he would make a note of it, but I don't know if he actually did. I think we will reconsider staying at La Quinta inn locations moving forward because this is probably the third time something like this has happened with an upgraded room or with housekeeping staff entering the room without warning while we are in there.
