This is a fantastic place for a meal, great atmosphere, very pleasant staff serving. I ordered the Camembert as a main course and was amazed at the amount of food that came with it (see photo) I ate every bit and can honestly say it was the best I have had My wife had scampi and chips and she was very pleased with her meal I then finished my meal with a Biscoff Sundae

About 50 of us had a 3 course meal at lunchtime. Service was fast, friendly and festive. Great food, hot and tasty. Well done to the whole team who cooked served and looked after us. We were here a year ago and the second visit was just as good as the first. We are coming back next Christmas, I can highly recommend this wonderful place.

Stayed in the Pridmouth for a special anniversary occasion at a cost of £200 reduced from £210 for a one night stay which included breakfast. For the cost of the room we were expecting it to be a little more luxurious and found the room to be tired and in need of refreshing/updating. There were cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling, the door frame paint in the bathroom was worn away to bare wood and there was water left in the kettle. All in all it was a comfortable nights sleep but for that price we felt that more attention to detail was definately needed.

We got the best room in the place! It was spacious and had an en-suite bathroom. I wish we could’ve stayed in the room more than one night! The staff were as kind and friendly as can be. Our dinner was delicious and the breakfast that was included the following morning was outstanding!

Lovely hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Large comfortable room, beautifully clean and well presented. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Nice linens and towels. Excellent breakfast. Great evening food. Good location for local area. We will be back!

We had a wonderful family meal for my granddaughter's birthday. Everyone remarked that the meals were delicious and well presented. Staff were delightful, friendly and attentive. We ate in the lounge bar so that our Labrador could curl up under the table.

Always head down for a Birthday lunch down at the Britannia. Witch is always nice as kids can go play while the adults chatt n quick drink and some lovely food. Most of us had the fish and chips, but Unfortunately this time myself and 3 other members of my family where ill with food poisoning the day after.. 4/5 days after still feeling unwell i had give the receptionist a call to let them know that my family and i had been unwell with food poisoning. She was very nice about it and understanding and said i would have call bk from a manager or someone in the next day or two.. 5 days aftet am still waiting for someone to call back .. as was deep fried food and cooked ok it seems they have a hygiene issue, myself and family unfortunately wont be coming back again but a call back would of been nice. 3 kids missed going back to school on there fist day and second. I had 4 days off work ill

Lovely hotel. It appears quite popular . We stayed here for two nights and visited the Eden project , a few local beaches and then Port Issac on the way home, so quite a good location. Ample parking (although does get busy when the pub is open). Nice they try and keep guests in a separate dinning area then non guests . Food was really good, quite expensive for a jacket potato £16, but I must say it was a huge portion and very nice indeed. Equally the basket of chips is huge. I had the veggie breakfast (minus the veggie sausages as I don’t like fake meat) one morning and pancakes the next, both very nice indeed. They do need to update the breakfast menu in the rooms as it’s not up to date (didn’t show the pancakes). We stayed in two rooms due to availability (not the hotels fault) both rooms spotless and very nice and modern , can’t fault. Both had aircon in and a hairdryer. Few niggerly points, the glasses at breakfast weren’t the cleanest . A couple Of staff should maybe be a bit more careful with what they discuss in front of guests, and one morning we did seem to get ignored by one waitress and were waiting a long time, with a couple of others being served first even though they came in after. A younger waitress did come and sort this out. Also my husband drinks his pints with a dash of lemonade, sometimes we were charged £1 for the lemonade (literally a shot if that) and other times we weren’t. I don’t really understand why we were charged more as you’re using less alcohol? The two ladies on reception were brilliant, they show you to your room, they couldn’t be more helpful. Overall I’d certainly Recommend this hotel and we would return.

Fantastic room and staff. So friendly and kind. Excellent stay - would def stay again. Room was large, beds comfortable, bathroom gorgeous! Breakfast was very good - full English available (or several other options) and couldn’t fault it.

A fantastic room. Huge and clean. Bed was comfy and shower powerful. A big mirror and a decent hair dryer. What more can you ask for! Staff were very friendly too. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again.
