I had a truly terrible experience. ​The room I was assigned was not clean. I found insects in the room, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the pool was not clean at all. ​After checking in, I repeatedly asked the staff to clean and vacuum the room. Despite my numerous requests, no one ever responded. I even asked to be moved to a different room, but I was told that another room was not ready. The pool was still not cleaned by the time I checked out. For the amount charged, this place is **absolutely not worth it**. Basic hygiene, maintenance, and service were severely lacking. The only saving grace was the **good food quality**, but that alone does not justify the poor experience. ​My stay was a complete waste of money. Subject: Complaint Regarding Unfair Handling of Booking Error – Request for Reasonable Resolution Dear Management, Resort 7 Spicy Mango – Matheran I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an extremely disappointing experience with your booking and customer service team. We had made a reservation for 2 rooms for 3 nights, intending to stay from 15th August 2025, a special long weekend for our family. However, due to an inadvertent date selection, the booking was processed for 15th July 2025 instead. We accept that the error was ours – but it was a genuine and honest mistake, realized much before the scheduled (wrong) date. We immediately contacted your team and explained the situation, requesting any of the following: A shift of dates to 15–18 August (rooms were available), A partial refund, Or a credit note valid for a future stay. Unfortunately, none of these options were considered. We were told that the booking was non-refundable and nothing could be done. The communication was curt and dismissive, with no attempt to understand or support us as guests. We are not asking for a special favor – we are simply requesting a fair and reasonable resolution: We were not a no-show. We gave advance notice. We were ready to pay the difference in room tariff. We were flexible with dates and open to credit. What’s most disappointing is that even when the loss to your property would have been zero, your team still refused to offer any alternative. This shows a complete lack of guest care and hospitality ethics. Your “non-refundable” policy is understood, but it should not override common sense and compassion. Human errors happen, and businesses that care about their customers find ways to support them – especially when the intent is clear and sincere. This experience has been frustrating and unfair, and unless revisited by your management, it leaves us no option but to escalate this publicly and leave honest reviews to warn future guests.

It’s a good resort to visit if you are planning a weekend getaway. Had opted to stay in the Valley View Room With Private Plunge Pool. My overall stay experience was good and the view from the room is really beautiful! The staff here were very helpful and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The food here was also upto the mark. Overall a great spot for weekend getaway if you are from Pune or Mumbai

It was an unexpected gem I discovered in the middle of nature in Girivan near Mulshi, Pune. The 360 degree amazing panorama of the hills in front opened my sensibilities as I was overawed by the grandeur of the hills that we saw from the resort. The stay was good and the rooms with an attached pool and the terraces where the rooms unfurl down the terraces, was a unique experience. And at night if you want to watch the stars in their full fury, or on a full moon night you want to communicate silently with the gods, this is the place. The simple warm food served tenderly by the courteous staff added to the experience. If you are happy to be amidst nature, listen to the bird calls and rejuvinate yourself, or spend some quality time with friends and family, this is the place to be in. This well maintained property is indeed a destination itself.

Overall stay is good. Food is good. In pool don’t hv temperature control. Can’t swim it’s chilled so no point with private pool. View and location is good. Don’t book from mmt i paid 13000- for private pool room. When i checked with hotel it was 7000- with gst and breakfast

Nice room with a private pool and decent food. However, the experience would have been even better if the pool was heated or had slightly warmer water, as it was too cold to enjoy for long. Beyond the private pool, the property offers limited additional amenities.

Staff is corteous, service is quick but there are few basic issues. Cleanliness : pool in room didn't look clean before checkin breakfast : no spread and limited options. Timings : breakfast only till 10am
