Besides the fact that we were all “rocked” by these magnificent views, our chalets were absolutely perfect. Everything we needed was available. It is an hour’s drive from Bulawayo and worth at least a 2 night stay. Beds and linen super comfortable. Meals have been really great and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at big cave . The staff were so welcoming the rims were wonderful and cosy. We had access to three rooms with my colleagues . All of us enjoyed our stay. We had dinner and breakfast and this was very good as well. I recommend the big Cave

Our family planned to start our reunion that we have every 4 years at Big Cave. The location was stunning, the quietness and beauty of the location was breathtaking taking. The lodges were immaculate and the food everyday was delicious. The staff were incredible. They served with smiles and did everything in their power to make our stay unforgettable. We were 29 people travelling ranging from 81yrs to 10 years an they looked after us incredibly. We celebrated Christmas in still and made so many great memories. Thank you.

Big Cave Camp is located in the hills outside Matobo National Park. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the bush. Staff were very welcoming and service was excellent.

Fantastic quiet retreat! We stayed her for a family reunion. Loved the beautiful rooms and the views of the bush, hills and the most spectacular sunsets. Food was great, staff took great care with allergies in our group. Exceptional service all around, but a special shout-out to our guide, Sandile. His expertise on traditional plant medicine and ceremonies made our game drive so much more than just a tour. It was deeply enriching. Nature lovers will adore the lizards, monkeys that you share the camp with, and the surroundings—just remember to bring bug spray! Loved the bird chorus throughout the day but especially early in the morning. A perfect, peaceful getaway.
