We used this hotel as a short stop over for one night before flying home. It has everything you need and close to the beach and a short walk to the Main Street where there are a few shops and cafe/restaurants. We were out of season so things very quiet but that is what we wanted. The owner was very welcoming, staying open just for us! He offered to carry our cases and let us check out later at no extra cost. He provided fresh milk and coffee sachets for us in the morning. The beds were comfy. Clean towels, Hot water for a shower. TV and kettle and fridge all working. Few aeroplanes but not through the night but we expected that as we chose to stay close to airport for convenience the next day. Yes we would stay again for a one night convenient stop over.

Alkyonides Boutique Hotel 3 *: very beautiful: close to the sea sight. Traditional Greek hotel, very clean. The Old Down Kremasti is very unique: many tavernas, beautiful buildings, beautiful Greek churches!

Avoid paying for breakfast, very basic with most of the food seemingly re used days upon ends. The rooms were basic however lacked conveniency such as the shower not having a hold so you have to hold it whilst showering, and bed frames not using the appropriate mattress slats so therefore left an uncomfortable sleep. numerous applications not fixed properly with cracks apparent. Not to mention the constant noise pollution from the planes which was failed to be mentioned in the description. The location is good in fairness. However avoid this establishment not worth it and certainly not 3 star. The staff are blunt are lack inter social skills. The note of a garden is questionable considering it is just a conservatory with tables and chairs.

It was nice and comfortable and spacious. But the fact that it’s near the airport, it makes it unbearable because all the planes pass above the hotel. So I wouldn’t recommend if you have babies (It’s noisy). But otherwise the staff are very friendly and welcoming. And also don’t pay for 25£+ for breakfast, it’s much cheaper when you arrive and ask at the reception. You also have to pay for the air conditioning 8£ per day. Water pressure for showering I’ll say 3/10. Very little. All I can say it has the basic things you need, not luxurious.

Avoid this hotel! The rooms were very dirty, there were a lot of bugs, ants and spiders. Cleaning was made superficially, there was a lot of dirt everywhere. The hotel is really close to the airport and the noise is insane (planes are landing every 5-10 minutes). The doors were not closing properly, we could not lock the balcony door so it was really unsafe to leave the belongings in the room. The host is a very rude person, he basically insulted us when we tried to ask for his help. We were charged 56 euros for AC for 7 nights and the host told us to use it only when really necesary because the power is really expensive there (like we didn't already pay a lot of money for it). We asked for the receipt for AC and the tax that we paid but the owner refused to give us one. The hotel offers meals but the meals were cooked by the host in the reception and it was dirty and unsafe, the host left the meals uncovered for hours and the cluttery was dirty as well. The hotel is close to Kremasti beach but the beach is so dirty and it has big stones and deep waivy water, so not suitable for bad swimmers. Avoid this hotel at any cost.

I don't know whether this place has been done up since the previous bad reviews but I found it perfectly fine for a night. Our flight home was cancelled at about 8pm and rather than wait for the airline to sort out somewhere we booked this as it's just a 10-minute cab from the airport. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and the shower worked well, as did the Aircon. Yes it's quite true that there's an occasional plane loudly flying overhead but what do you expect this close to an airport? And it wasn't especially expensive, for Rhodes. Breakfast was included but we didn't have time so I can't comment on that. Arguably four stars is generous, but it's based on the fact we were fairly sceptical about the place before arriving but it was actually quite all right, nice even, and if you're short on time and options it definitely does the job.
