I had initially booked to stay at this hotel but after personal and unavoidable circumstances relating to my job who told me I would no longer have the time off I requested and would be called into work, I tried to cancel this stay. Agreed that this was within the 10 day cancellation window of the hotel and was told that it would not be possible. The hotel agreed to arrange another date for us to stay with them, but the only dates we had available due to our jobs, the hotel is closed for renovations. The hotel then said they would try to resell the room for the original dates we booked and would give us the option of dates in the future, which they were successfully able to resell the room, so I tried to get my £250 back from my bank due to them now having an additional £250 from another client, thus equalling them to having £500 for one room. My refund was rejected even though this hotel now have £250 on my money and we are not staying at the hotel. I would have been more than happy for the hotel to keep £50 as an inconvenience for the late cancellation. But again, they now have £500 for one room and one party isn't going to be staying at the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for my husband to take part in the Eryri 2025 marathon. Amy and James are lovely people and fantastic hosts, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Their hotel is beautiful, it's been decorated with lots of love. The lounges where you can have tea and coffee 24/7 are so cosy and such a good idea, where many other guests had a chat and shared experiences. Our room was lovely, warm, well decorated a comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and cooked to perfection. The hotel is an easy 20min walk to the centre of llanberis with bus stops outside. Thankyou Amy and James, we really enjoyed staying in your lovely hotel. We look forward to staying with you again. I stayed at the wonderful Lake View Hotel for Marathon Eryri. Location perfect. Service perfect. Nothing was too much. Very much a home from home. Thanks Amy and James. I'll definitely be back!

Perfect in every way. Amazing owners that really care about their guests. Amy and James went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exceptional, as were the little touches like the communal area, and the tea/coffee station. I will definitely be booking again!

We travelled from Northampton for a charity hike, to climb Snowden, we chose this place as it was convenient and close, when we arrived we was greeted by the owners with a very warm welcome The room was spacious and the shower was heaven after climbing Snowden, they also told us where was close for us to then go have some food, in the morning we was greeted with smiles and conversation asking if we had all slept ok, the breakfast was amazing, nothing was to much, if I came again this is the place I would definitely stay and it wasn’t overly expensive either Thank you for having us all, you guys were amazing!! Seeing the teddy on the bed was cute too

Amy and James were incredibly welcoming and always available for anything we could need. The room was perfect and exactly what we needed for our trip. The breakfast options were incredible: 4 different hot breakfasts to choose from, as well as a very good variety of cereals and toast. Highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone visiting the area!

Amy and James were absolutely wonderful! We were warmly welcomed to their hotel, and they were great at providing helpful tips on the surrounding area. Their place was very comfortable and I felt right at home. Delicious breakfasts! I would gladly return :)
