We recently stayed in a lovely B&B Called Sweet home in San Ferdinando Calabria Italy. It had lovely Rooms with a balcony with beautiful views of the mountains and towns around it. The beds were very comfortable the room had a nice bathroom and was very clean. It was only 5 minutes walk to the beach and the weather was lovely. Vittoria and Antonio made our stay very memorable. Breakfast was included in the stay. Antonio made all of the sweets and pastries daily. The service is excellent. They go out of their way please you. We went to San Ferdinando to see where my husbands family were born. We walked the same roads, we walked along the beach his parents used to swim in. We took photos of the houses they lived in. When I booked Vittoria recognised the family name straight away and also knew some people still with that name. Vittoria did some investigating regarding the name. She had a friend called Dr Barbieri . One Sunday Vittoria arranged a meeting with Dr Barbieri Her cousin Maria to translate to English to my husband and myself. Dr Barbieri had all my husbands history on his fathers side going back to the early 1800's. It was so emotional we had no idea that was going to happen. We were so over whelmed it was beautiful. My husband got to meet his first cousin and 95year old mother And his second cousin Maria. It was such an excellent day we were very happy. We cannot thank them all enough for making our stay with them absolutely amazing. They were just happy to give us a lot of joy. It is a lovely family run business where they make you feel welcome and they will bend over backwards to please you. Great Service. Thanking you all you gave us memories that will last forever.
