Very uncomfortable stay here. The bedrooms are badly designed, especially for anyone tall. A shelf directly above pillow location on bed, I don’t know how more people don’t have concussions, we hit our heads sitting up . The mattresses are hard, the pillows are too soft, almost flat , and have an odd textured fabric on them which includes other guests hair. We used our folded clothes as pillows. Walls are very thin. Could hear conversation in the room beside, and a baby crying three rooms away. Bathroom is tiny, no shampoo provided, I was told to use the hand soap on the sink. No holder for this in the shower. Breakfast was unpleasant. Not efficiently laid out, difficult for guests to get access to the food . Not replenished well, when we were there no fruit, no pastries, no butter, no eggs. Only bread, some cheese, meat available. Packet juice and poor instant coffee from a tap. No cappuccinos etc. The location is ten minutes from the Altstadt and promenade. There is nothing in the immediate location except residential homes and a school. No shop, cafe, restaurant, or even a bus stop. The place itself has zero atmosphere , it’s like a warehouse. No idea why it is called a bed and breakfast, could not be further from the concept of a warm welcoming place. Staff were friendly on arrival, but I was surprised to be asked to prepay. No luggage storage facility provided on checkout, and worse, directed to lockers at the Bahnhof that didn’t exist. When we returned we were told we went to the wrong place, but no map or address was given. Highly recommend finding anywhere else in Überlingen to stay.

Fantastic location with parking, walking distance from the lake and promenade. Extremely comfortable room with kettle. Good choice at breakfast with very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and good shower. Highly recommended.
