Difficult to find alley access, Google maps required. Cobbles hard on suitcase wheels. Stairs, no lift. Room spacious, well laid out, bed good, bathroom well laid out, shower cramped. Fridge, microwave, kettle provided. Central location, easy walking distance to Sansoucci Palace. Check-in advertised from 3pm to midnight, but hotel closed and locked on arrival at 4pm on a Monday. Rooms opened by a keypad. No code given. Key finally gained from a lady next door who spoke only Russian. No response to phone calls or emails from hotel until 7pm, demanding key back at a time we had booked entry to Sansoucci. Demand ignored. No on-site parking, just directions to parking buildings elsewhere in town or to free roadside parking 1.5km away. First time we saw the manager was at checkout.

Great location. But the set up of the rooms has a lot of improvements to do. Insufficient lighting in general; kitchen unit is hidden in a wardrobe with no lighting and plugs inside which makes it even weird and impractical; The bathroom is the worse with small basin and big tap as well as the improper shower unit, you basically would easily flood the bathroom floor whenever you use it. The cleaning happened every two days but only to clear your garbage and changing towels. The floor was never vacuumed throughout the week. Going through the back kitchen of the restaurant could be a bit unpleasant for some visitors. However, the cleaning lady and staff were very nice and friendly though.
