Very run down and tired. Paint peeling from woodwork and really needs refurbishing. Room was ok reasonably clean but no radiators working so a big white unit on the table which I think was a heater?? Bathroom water pressure was terrible and the bath is quite high to navigate when climbing in to the shower. Breakfast was absolutely terrible . The food had obviously been out on the hot plates for quite a while and the bacon was sat in lots of grease and tasted like cardboard. Everything else was much the same and presentation was non existent. Complete waste of money so I would say if you are hungry get in the car and look for somewhere decent. Overall it was one night so can cope with that but any longer and we would have been out of there !

There is always a warm welcome, a comfy big bed and a warm shower waiting in simple but stylish rooms with everything you need in them. Easy to book,value for money and easy to check in!

A very tired hotel. Noisy room (215) due to being above the heating/boiler room so, kept awake with the constant hum below our window. Smelly bacterial smell in the bathroom and smelly/unclean shower curtain, the usually plump soft pillows were flat. Bedside lamps hanging off the wall. Wifi very hit & miss, gave up in the end and corridors and entrance doorway were very untidy. Well overdue a refurb. Not the usual standard or the many Premier Inns we stay in. Disappointing.

The lady on reception was really nice and informative when we checked in The young girl in the restaurant was so lovely and welcoming The rooms were a little tired but clean We really enjoyed our stay mainly down to the friendly staff

We found Julie in the restaurant very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The breakfast was perfect. The room was very clean and cosy and we always come back to this same hotel

Christopher and Charlotte are a credit to this hotel restaurant and we will definitely come back as a family as they make you feel welcome and can’t do enough for you. Even gave my sister and my mum a surprise for their birthday. Thank you guys

Christopher and charlette in the bar/restaurant are superb they cannot Do enough for you nothing is too much trouble well done will deffo book again because of them

we weren't staying here but went for a meal the girl who greeted us said because we weren't guests she shouldn't serve us but she would let us in this time, even though it is a large restaurant and there were only about half a dozed people eating there. We were then seated and our drink and food orders were taken some other people, I assume hotel guests then arrived and were seated and had their first course before our food arrived. When our drinks arrived there was no ice in them but the hotel guests all had ice in theirs.
